It’s a decent spare monitor. I like it.
I needed a decent travel monitor for my Macbook Air for a work trip…. this monitor fit the bill perfectly. I can connect it via USB-C (with the included cables) from my Macbook and it just works. It’s nice that it’s powered by the same cable.The kickstand is nice and firm and works well. The touchscreen is responsive. The HD resolution is exactly what I expected. The controls are simple and easy to use.I like that it came with a protection sleeve for traveling. It’s thin and will fit nicely into my backpack with my laptop.It’s a decent monitor and I’m happy I got it.

I’m very happy with the Caperave portable monitor.
Add on to my initial review below: I love the screen so much that I ordered another one for my wife!I purchased the Caperave monitor to use with my Microsoft Pro 7 Laptop because of it’s touchscreen capabilities and quality reviews. It was easy to connect and operate and didn’t need any downloads or complicated procedures. You just need to use the correct cable, which in my case was the USB-C to USB-C. It has good resolution and clarity and the touchscreen works as well as my computer screen. It’s lightweight and portable and comes with a travel cover. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the product. Overall I’m very happy with it, it’s going to make my life easier. I registered the screen for the 2-year warrantee and their customer service rep answered immediately confirming receipt, which is good sign for customer support.

This is the perfect product for what I was looking for. The screen is made of high quality material and feels very sturdy. The image is crisp and the touch screen works very well. I also love that it came with all the cables and even a sleeve for easier and protected transport. It is thin and I can easily put this into my bag and take it along on travels. Everything is easy to use – just plug it in. It also works nicely to display my cell phone. I am very excited about it and can highly recommend it.

Worth your money
Easy to use, compatible with windows operating system. Port placement is good and accessible. Sturdy with the stand on. Screen size is just right for my needs. Brightness is good and resolution is typical 1080p. Touch screen is responsive as it should be. It looks great and the screen protector is a plus point for your money’s worth.

My laptop’s screen died and this makes a perfect replacement
I had a unique set of circumstances that lead to me buying this monitor. Long story short I have an old laptop that still works fine but its screen finally died recently so I thought it would be much easier (cheaper) to just get some kind of external monitor rather than replacing the laptop or trying to get the screen repaired. I mainly use this laptop in bed so if I could get some kind of external touch screen monitor it would be perfect to basically turn the laptop into a tablet. After some research I came across this monitor and tried it out and it works perfectly!I’ve tried this out on multiple laptops and it works with each one. It has become the perfect replacement part for my old laptop with the broken screen and will probably allow me to get several more years out of that thing before I finally have to replace it for real. If you want to use this to purely touch-screen-only interface with your computer, just make sure you enable the on-screen keyboard in your system settings and you’ll be able to do everything from the touch screen.This will also come in handy for travelling, as I have a separate laptop for work (with a functioning screen) and this will be the perfect second screen for that one as well. It even comes with a sleeve to protect from scratches if you put it in a laptop or suitcase. And it came with a bunch of different cables for whatever setup you might need.The monitor feels well made, it’s not cheap or flimsy. The quality is good, clear 1080p with stable refresh rate. The kickstand feels solid and also makes a good handle if you need to hold the monitor up.Overall I am highly impressed!

Good Monitor with some limitations
This is a good portable touch screen monitor for the price. Picture quality is good, but don’t expect color accuracy to compete with an expensive professional design monitor. It won’t. Color accuracy is okay, and you can tweak it. I will update my review if it turns out to be compatible with a colorimeter (I would be surprised though). The monitor was plenty bright, I actually had to turn down the brightness. It’s not particularly fair to compare sharpness on a 15.6″ FHD (1920×1080) monitor when my 4K (3216×1440) 6.7″ cellphone is the connected device. Sharpness is good for the monitor’s specs, but obviously not as good as the pixel density on my 4K phone. That’s to be expected.Touch function works, but entirely depends on the setup. One of the two USB-C ports supports power (input) + video + touch. The other does not support touch function at all. I found that touch function only works if you’re powering the monitor from the touch enabled device’s USB connection. For example, I connected my OnePlus 9 Pro android phone using the included USB-C to USB-C cable. Everything worked fine. Touch was good and accurate, the screen looked good too. Once I tried plugging in the second USB-C port to use for an external power source (and to reduce battery usage from my phone), the touch function stopped working.All things considered, it’s a good and inexpensive portable monitor that’s easy to use when you understand its limitations. If you want something with better color accuracy or more features, I don’t think you’ll find that anywhere near this price. Color accurate monitors are not cheap.
