I am very happy with this Alvar Smart Projector. In my opinion the image quality is quite sharp and the brightness is very good – I typically leave a dim light on in the room and the picture is crisp and clear.The projector was very easy to setup initially. Afterwards the auto focus and auto keystone work very well and are nice for us since we are pulling down a screen every time we view. The compact size makes it great for a shelf mount.I am not utilizing the speakers on the projector as I am connecting to a Bluetooth soundbar so I can’t comment on sound quality.I love watching football on this projector and I think it is an excellent value for the price.

Great Picture Quality and Easy Setup
Really happy with this Alvar projector so far. The picture is bright and clear, and the 1080P resolution looks sharp even when the room isn’t fully dark. Auto focus and keystone make setup super easy — I literally turned it on and it was ready to go.I love that Netflix is officially supported, so I don’t need to plug in extra devices. Prime Video and YouTube work great too. The built-in speakers are better than expected and loud enough for movie nights without external speakers.Overall, great value for the price and very easy to use. Definitely a solid choice for home or casual movie nights.

We have built several in home movie theaters for clients over the years and have always struggled to find the best projector that is under $3000. When we decided to build one for our own home, we began a deep search to find the best price to quality ratio projector on the market. Needless to say, the Alvar Projector has FAR surpassed expectations and thus we have recommended it to over a dozen other families.To start – we needed a projector that both supported 4K, Dolby, and an internal smart TV-like feature that actually plays in 4K. Having a projector with built in Wifi and Bluetooth is a huge game changer. What people don’t realize when ordering some other cheaper projectors is that companies typically lie about the picture quality, brightness and sound. After weeks of testing I can safely say that this is the REAL DEAL! The brightness factor is massive and is typically the main differentiator between cheaper and more expensive ones. This rivals our $3k+ setups, and the smart features make it all that better at a fraction of the cost.The projector has been ran daily for several hours – movies, shows, video games, etc. It was extremely easy to set up and the picture quality is crisp. Unlike some other budget models, the UI is intuitive, fast and doesn’t glitch. It feels like a premium product and I cannot emphasize how happy we have been.

I got this to upgrade from one of those cheap sub $100 projectors and wow what an upgrade. This project knocked it pit of the park in every way I hoped it would.Picture quality: very clear with great auto focus. Good color range, deep blacks,Vibrant colors. Smooth in action scenes.Set up: just plug it up & it works. The built I smart feature are fast and responsive. Linked to my Amazon account & started watching.Sound: probably the most surprising is that the sounds I really good and gets very loud. I have separate speakers I use when I set up for a movie night but this I making me consider if it’s worth the effort. Sounds great.Over all it’s a great projector for the money. I’m giving the cheap ones I ah w away cause this bad boy knocked it pit of the park. I Ana very happy with my purchase.10/10, would recommend

Any changes made to settings lag so badly that it’s hard to tell where you’re at.
Part up was ok except no batteries for remote and almost impossible to get the back off of the remote to put the batteries in. Set up was easy enough. The picture started out great. Then it changed and navigating the settings from the remote or from the box it’s almost impossible because there is such a lag in the time that you push a button to when you see the setting on the screen. It’s very hard to change the picture type, and it kept switching back to vivid which was not attractive. The picture degraded as the night went on and I’m not sure why that was since we didn’t change anything until later. The brightness faded. And due to the lag of the remote control we were bouncing in and out of different apps and different pages on the browser. I’m thinking now I should’ve paid more for a different projector. The other option was a Haprun and I’ve never had good luck with those. I’m terribly disappointed in this. I was really hoping that would work as described, but it does not. I hope you have better luck!

Good quality for the price but lacks basic leveling feature
Good picture quality and sound quality. However the projector is designed without a tripod mounting screw hole at the bottom or top or any surface. Most if not all projectors comes with a tripod mounting screw hole these days. It was disappointing to see this one didn’t. And there are no levelers on four corners, we had to use some cardboard sheet under the corners to achieve correct rectangle projection onto the wall without tilting. We have the projector placed on a floating shelf on a wall and without the leveler (small cardboard sheets) on the corners, the picture on the wall is tilted to one side. Auto keystone correction didn’t help here. Auto focus works great though. Overall great picture quality, sound quality and brightness with 2000 linens for the price, but poor body design and lacks basic features for setup. This also makes it not portable around the house.

Bright and super great value
This thing is awesome. I was able to shine it on my other wall during the day and it was clear and visible. It pays to get a higher brightness- this one is amazing.On top of that you can jump straight to YouTube or Netflix right away on the projector- no PC needed the wifi works great.
