This checker board is easy to use, easy to put away. The competition between adults and children was enjoyable over Thanksgiving weekend. The material was thick enough to play on the carpet. The large checkers were helpful for small hands.

Fun take on a classic game!
The playfield is a rug like material. The color helps hide light dirt if you’re taking it outdoors . The only improvement I would make is possibly some non-fabric backing as my kids love to use this camping and have a tendency to play it on the ground and tend to accumulate pine needles, grass, and dirt on the bottom. This is a minor issue as you can easily brush it off before storing. There is something about oversized games that really draw kids to play with it more than the old standard set we have. A camping must. Easy to travel with.

I bought two more for Christmas presents. It’s two games in one. Checkers on one side and tick tack toe on the other side. Great gift and looks like it will last forever. Kids will love it.

A Family Favorite
This is our family’s favorite version of checkers and tic-tac-toe! It’s fun to be able to spread out on the floor but it could also be used on a table if preferred. The large pieces and playing squares makes it easy for little hands to use and learn the game. The tic-tac-toe side offers two playing grids, one for 3 in a row and one for 4 in a row which is great as kids start understanding how to play. I was a little worried about the mat folding or moving around on the floor but it easily stays in place as the pieces are moved around. This is a great purchase!
