Solid little 100W 2.1 mini-Amp with Bluetooth aptX HD
My intended use for this amp was for rear home theater speakers in a 5.1configuration, taking advantage of the aptX low latency feature. The styling is very clean and inobtrusive. The blue LED emits a faint glow tolet you know it’s on and connected to AUX or bluetooth status. The build, knobs, and switches are all very solid.I tested it on ELAC UB5’s a very demanding low sensitivity 4 ohm speaker andfound it up to the challenge and able to play at louder volumes w/o distortionthan my 100W Fosi mini-AMP with perhaps a little more oomph on the bass. Thesound is clear and crisp with no audible noise or hiss, even while adjustingvolume and tone. The included 36V x 6A beefy power supply brick, at most capable of outputting(P=V*A=216W) = 2 x 108W, was never more than mildly warm, even when playingmusic at loud levels for extended periods. Similarly for the amp itself, mildlywarm but never hot. I’ll probably keep it on most all of the time. Wattagemeasurements using KILL A WATT showed idle power of 8W and high volume, higherthan most people would ever listen to, of only 10W. I can’t imagine how loudyou would have to play it to hit 50W sustained and above. I personally can seeno reason to bother to connect this to a larger power supply.I had no trouble pairing it with a Samsung Galaxy S9+, 1Mii transmitter, andTrond transmitter and was able to confirm aptX & aptX HD support. Itimmediately connected to the last paired device when turned on. There werenever any noticeable clicks, pops or dropouts with the transmitter around 15feet away. To pair with another device, I power cycled and unplugged it andthen went through pairing again.I also tested the AUXIN port streaming music from Spotify to a GoogleChromecast Audio port and it also sounded great. I could not differentiate thequality between it at bluetooth aptX HD.Some missing features that may be important depending on application include:- simultaneous pairing with multiple devices- headphone jack and/or USB connector – esp. for gamers- indication and/or control of aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL, SBC- remote control – esp. if not in a convenient locationThese mini-Amps are great for applications like home theater (both front and rearspeakers), bookshelf speakers in the living room or kitchen, in a dorm orapartment, or desktop computer speakers. Paired with a modest subwoofer, it’s allof the audio that most people will ever need in a nice small package.Disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for writing a thorough review. That said, I have no hesitation giving this product 5 stars and recommending itfor the above applications and many others.

I’m Amazed
Small enough to be almost unobtrusive on a desk top, Bluetooth-RCA connectors, bass and treble controls make this a powerful enough amp to easily drive bookshelf speakers.

Great Sound Quality With Handy Conveniences
As a happy owner of the A07 I was interested in getting the A07 Pro for my family. So far I’m quite pleased with the performance of the A07 Pro. It still sounds excellent like its predecessor but with bluetooth and tone controls, I find it more convenient to use than ever.In my listening tests, I found it presents a very full sound, with clear separation, and relatively wide soundstage for the size. Imaging performance was decent too, particularly with some tracks like The Adults Are Talking by The Strokes you can clearly hear the direction of the instruments and vocals.I find the A07 Pro and the A07 to be quite similar acoustically, though I found the A07 Pro’s treble seems a smidge more pronounced. However, overall they are very close and the tone controls on the Pro mean you could easily adjust the sound to your liking.Regarding the Bluetooth, I’m happy to say it is as impressive as the RCA input, to the point where if you didn’t tell me it was Bluetooth I probably would never have guessed. I tested it with my iPhone 12, and at a decently high input volume, this thing rocks (and with decent speakers it obviously beats the pants off of any portable bluetooth speaker). The only potential con you should be aware of is that it doesn’t support the LDAC codec, but it doesn’t matter to me personally and to my ears the Bluetooth already sounds great. One nitpick I have is that I do wish it had a tone control bypass switch. It would make it easier to switch between using the A07 Pro’s tone controls vs an equalizer, and some people just don’t prefer tone controls whether for latency concerns or other possible reasons.Overall though, the A07 Pro is a great little amp. I think Bluetooth makes it very easy to use especially for usage with a laptop or phone, and tone controls are handy to have. It’s also worth noting this one comes with a slightly beefier power supply compared to the A07 (36V 6A vs 32V 5A). For the sound quality and added convenience, the A07 Pro is a pretty nice value option and I would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a great sounding amp, especially for those who want to use it with portable devices. I would particularly recommend it to audio enthusiasts who might be looking to get something high quality for their family who would appreciate the convenience of Bluetooth.

more than adequate power
connected to Magnepan 1.6 speakers. with cd player line out you’d be nuts to raise the volume past 12 o clock. bluetooth connection (which seems to use lossless codec if available on your source) needs a bit more turn on the knob but still plenty of room to get it loud enough. i too like bass/treble with a tactile neutral, but can overlook the lack thereof because playing vinyl pretty much always needs a bit of bass anyway. (with phono preamp needed of course.) would be nice if it had left/right balance especially for a simple setup without other gear, but you can’t be too fussy. does not seem to get hot much at all. i do wish they would stop putting these bright blue lights on the front of every piece of electronic gear nowadays. 3.5mm line out may be useful someday… now if this thing could transmit the rca input to another bluetooth device, that would be astounding. but alas, only seems to want to receive.

Was will man mehr? Damit verdient er sich problemlos 5 Sterne. Ich kann das Gerät wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
