Sooo convenient
Love these light bulbs. Have several. Make sure you only buy the ones from Amazon though. If you buy other brands then you have to download other programs and they don’t always sink well with Amazon products. The newer light bulbs that I purchased including this one have a nice feature where when you tell Alexa to shut it off it fades to Black it doesn’t just shut off. It happens quickly though and I find it to be very nice on the eyes that way. I highly recommend these light bulbs. It’s wonderful being able to have your hands full and turn the lights on and off. And it helps especially in the middle of the night to just call out for the light to come on instead of having to fumble for it in the dark. It’s not hard to set up on the Alexa app and the one time I did have a little difficulty the support that Alexa is easy to get a hold of and they solve the problem right away. Get these you’ll love them

Works as should!
I’ve had other smart lights and these work fantastic with Alexa. I would strongly compare these to the Philips Hue with their dock system. Cync by GE would just flat out not work as should and could not pair with the Alexa system at all. For the money, these have worked flawlessly and would buy more. Love the fact you can set the brightness and warmth of the bulbs as well.

Reliable but not as relevant anymore
Use these with amazon products and alexa. Have had no issues with these. They’ve been great, very reliable, and good quality. They don’t overheat, flicker, or dip in power. I recommend getting them – but I won’t be using as much now that alexa devices will no longer have privacy options so really defeats the point of needing these.

Finally, the Color Changing Bulbs I’ve Been Looking For!
There have been bulbs that can change color from pink to green (who needs their room to be green?), but these are the first that I have found that allows you to change the kelvin rating and I think that is awesome. I’ve been looking for these for a while. When it is sunny outside you can open your blinds and change the color to Daylight White or Cool White and it’ll be the same as outside. In the winter it is great to dim them and change to a nice Soft White or Warm White and watch a movie (just don’t fall asleep). They work great with Alexa. If you make the mistake of turning off the switch, they do take 10-20 seconds to sync back up with Alexa, which is really my only quibble with them.

Wonderful product!
We received the bulb yesterday and installed it today. We downloaded the Alexa app to set up, but it does work with our Amazon cube. I ordered this because my husband has balance and vision issues. This bulb has different shades of white so he can easily change the shade or brightness by using app or Amazon Fire TV cube. He can also turn on/off without having to call for me or get up. It does not change colors as advertised, but we don’t need that feature. All in all it was an easy installation and suits our needs. Will definitely order more as long as the life of the bulb is adequate.

Extremely easy to install.
I followed the easy instructions for installing. I’ve had 2 of these for two weeks. I placed them in my lamps and created a “routine” using the Alexa app. I bought these to replace digital timers which were very large. These are so much better than timers. I can turn them on and off at will or just let the “routine” do it’s thing. I named the lights “Janet” and “Ed” after my mother and father who gave me the lamps in the Alexa app. I get a kick out of turning Janet and Ed On and Off and the names are easy for my husband to remember.
