Solid full size rechargeable keyboard & mouse combo!
The Amazon Basics Ultra Premium Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo was the perfect size that I was looking for my needs. The keyboard & mouse batteries were already charged and once I installed the USB connector, flipped the ON switch, they both immediately connected with my laptop & was ready to use. The keys has a solid quality feel and provides a nice premium tactile response as you type. I was looking for a keyboard that had a dedicated key to the calculator and this Amazon Basics Ultra Premium Wireless Keyboard included one! Yeah! The mouse operates as it should and the shape is surprisingly comfortable to use. The mouse rolling wheel control operates quietly and scrolls very nicely. Highly recommended!

Solid build, quirky power status lights.
At a time when almost all keyboards are made out of lumps of plastic, to find one built with a solid metal frame that is still very lightweight is unusual to say the least. There is a nice tactile feel to the keys with the minimum of “clicking” sound and instant responsiveness. The mouse is equally as comfortable to use and very responsive. The addition of the DPI button also allows on the fly adjustment of the cursor speed, rotating between 4 different speeds which is a feature you might expect on pricier units.Why not 5 stars? Simple. The power indicator lights on both the keyboard and the mouse are “quirky” to say the least! Once the indicator turns solid green it is fully charged, but the moment you unplug the charging cable the light turns red (charging mode),even if you don’t touch the keyboard, AND, even when plugged in, once you start typing the green (fully charged) indicator switches to red, and the same issue is present on the mouse indicator light.THEN, when you plug the cable immediately back into the mouse, it reaches maximum charge indicator inside a minute, whereas on the keyboard it takes a good 5 minutes plus for that to happen, even if you are not using the keyboard. This set up is definitely counterintuitive; if anything, it should perhaps remain green – as is common with most wireless keyboard/mouse configurations on the market and then blink red when it needs to be recharged, remain solid red while charging and solid green once fully charged.I guess I will get used to the quirky nature of the indicator lights, although I personally find the set up a little irritating, but the exceptionally high initial build quality of the entire system leads me to believe that it’s a minor inconvenience that I’m prepared to put up with.

A single charge lasts several days of heavy use, and charging is quick and convenient.In terms of performance and price point, this set absolutely exceeds expectations. It’s ideal for office work, home setups, or even for students. J’utilise ce clavier et cette souris depuis quelques jours, et globalement, c’est un bon ensemble.✅️ Les points positifs :- Clavier de très bonne qualité : solide et bien fini avec sa conception en métal, il donne une sensation premium à la frappe. Les touches sont agréables et relativement silencieuses.- Connexion facile : plug & play, il suffit de brancher le dongle USB et tout fonctionne immédiatement.- Bonne réactivité : pas de latence notable, aussi bien pour la frappe que pour la souris.- Autonomie correcte : après plusieurs jours d’utilisation, pas encore besoin de recharger le clavier et la souris.❌️ Les points à améliorer :- Souris un peu plus bas de gamme : Beaucoup de plastique, elle paraît moins robuste que le clavier. À voir dans le temps si elle tient bien.- Ergonomie de la souris moyenne : convient pour un usage bureautique, mais pourrait être plus confortable pour de longues sessions.💡 En résumé : un très bon pack, surtout grâce à la qualité du clavier en métal. La souris fait le job mais semble un cran en dessous. Bon rapport qualité/pris ! 👍
