10 Stars! No issues, read for user tips
I’ve had so many Echos over the years, beginning with the 1st Gen, can’t live without them anymore since so much of our home is Alexa connected. I originally got a refurbished 1st Gen Echo Show 15″, not knowing the 2nd gen was coming out. So glad I returned it for the new 21″ Echo Show, it’s absolutely phenomenal!Streaming video: Easy to set up streaming (which I’ve done on our 5″, 8″, and 10″ Echos). The best part of the Echo Show is that Fire TV is included. I easily logged into Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Max, Peacock, Paramount, Disney+, and Apple TV (other Echo shows only allowed me Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon, I believe). The setup and remote is the same as FireTV.Streaming audio: Easy to connect with your Audible account, and Apple Music or Spotify. I can also stream NPR and podcasts. If you are having a problem with Echo playing the right song, try this: “Echo, play Blinding Lights by the Weeknd on Apple Music” instead just saying “Echo, play Blinding Lights.” Same “Echo, play Christmas Jazz on Apple Music” instead of “Echo, play Christmas Music.” The more specific you are, the better results.Calendar: I tried the Skylight and it is useless. The Echo Show will connect to your Apple Calendars. Our family does shared calendars, and everything shares over to our Echo Show, including announcing events and times to leave.Drop in: It’s amazing! The camera will zoom and adjust automatically. Our Echo Show 10 does this, but it’s on a swivel and always runs into things. This one is much smarter! You can drop in from another Alexa device, or simple the Alexa app on a smart phone.Photos: We have all of our Echo Shows displaying photos that I have uploaded to Amazon photos and then select which photos to show using the Alexa app. Screen is so clear and large, better than any smart frame I’ve ever seen. And friends/family can share photos to it.Announcements: Announcements will show on the screen and announce (I also have push notifications to my watch/phone). Echo hears them perfectly and announces them correctly (our Echo 8 has stopped properly listening and announcing). You can also announce from the Alexa app if you are not home, very convenient for parents :)Widgets: Widgets are easy to add and adjust, just be patient and go through the process.Ads: To remove (most) ads, go into settings on the screen and turn everything to off! I barely get any. If you are still getting those annoying “Wicked” ads, it’s because you have on the “Theme” setting. Once I turned that off, no more “Wicked” (or other future sponsored theme movies), even though we do like the theme setting (Mario is my favorite!).Pricing: Look for a sale. I got the 21″ for $350 on the Black Friday Sale. Would have cost me more than that for a TV, sound bar, and Apple TV for our kitchen (which was our old setup).I LOVE all of our Echo devices. Our Gen 1 is still working amazingly, and glad to add the Echo 21″ to our home.

I was skeptical about getting this, but I absolutely love it. It’s fantastic. Looks great in my kitchen. My kids can leave notes for each other or myself. You can get receipes easily. My family can add to the shopping list and I have the app on my phone So whenever i’m shopping, I can easily access what the family needs. I can call from phone and control my rokuTvs with Alexa, i haven’t really gotten into the AI it makes me nervous since I feel like it’s always listening, but the whole world is always watching us So why not? I would definitely recommend it sounds great and works amazingly.

I don’t know why their is negative reviews.READ THIS REVIEW, YOU WONT REGRET IT!1. This screen was so easy to set up. I had no issues at all. As long as you have the alexa app, set up is easy.2. We installed the screen on the wall and it was so easy to do and the bracket holds well. Just follow the instructions.3. Yes the widgets get no bigger than the calander you see in the picture provided. But if u click on it, the calander goes full screen. You can also say hey alexa open calander and it will also open to full screen. You also can ask alexa what is on your agenda for today and she will repeat what’s on your calander. So honestly in my opinion a full screen calander that is open100 percent of the time is not necessary.4. This calander has so many extra features, tv, photos, recipes, grocery list and many more things, that this screen blows away any other digital calander out there.5. I had no issues setting up the remote. You have to say hey alexa open settings. Than click on fire tv settings, than pair fire tv remote. It was a breeze. The remote paired on my first attempt.6. I downloaded the streaming apps. Netflix, disney +, hulu. All of them work. I have had no issues running them.7. I don’t know what they are taking about qith the memory. This device has 16gb of memory and 3gb ram. It has plenty of storage for the screen is intended for. I have everything from photos to streaming on it with no memory issues.8. I 100 percent recommend this. Don’t listen to the other reviews that are negative. This screen is 100 percent worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Step by step specific steps to using the Echo Show 21
Love the Echo Show 21 especially the size of the screen and the widgets which you decide what you want displayed. The spectrum app through the internet is very clear and the fire tv built in is a definite plus. The only downside is there is not a manual that I have found that gives you step by step instructions on all the capabilities this device has to offer. I did order one book but it didn’t contain the info I was hoping for. There are so many functions that I’m still trying to figure out and the ideal manual would tell you specific steps …….for example if you want to add to the to the top connections widget to start the process and the way you get to that screen is by doing this…..that is the manual or book that would be so very helpful not just go to this screen and here’s what you do…. If such a book exists I’d like to get my hands on it and critique it. The book I ordered was Amazon Echo Show 21-Ultimate User Friendly Complete Guidebook for Beginners and Seniors and it didn’t help me understand the Echo Show 21 any better.
