It Delivers! EASY Set Up- SUPER Strong Magnet! REALLY strong
Looking for something simple, easy and works? This is it!Let me count the ways…1. Long Battery. It’s true. I have the setting on a medium sensitivity and it’s still going strong.2. Great Detection. I have my camera in a low light/ little natural light area.. no problem.3. Strong Magnet. You have options. The magnet already on the unit is strong. You can also use the added magnetic circular mount – screw that into the wall for a permanent option- and then just pull the camera off of that. Beware! This additional magnet is so strong it pulled the camera right out of my hand and pinched my finger.. yes it’s that strong. Pulling that apart almost took two hands (before i screwed it into the wall)4. Clarity. Just Yes! Even in my low light setting I can see recording, pics or live very clearly. You have options for b/white or night vision color. Doesn’t seem to affect the battery… so I’m going color.5. NO SUBSCRIPTION NEEDED. Just get a Micro SD card, and the camera will use that to activate the video feature. It will take still photos w/o it.. but no video. The cloud subscription is offered, but not necessary if you don’t want or need that cost.6. The App is EASY. No exploring for where a feature is buried… Set up truly is simple and stress free. Just ensure you are using the 2.4ghz internet speed. Keep in mind how far it is from your router when chosing a location. I have no issues and it’s easily more than 150 feet from mine inside the the home.Two Minor complaints:It’s. doesn’t come in black. I’d prefer that so it would be less noticeable and I would choose to put it in a different place.Also, the SD card feature defaults to Cloud. When on the app, you go to the library to see if you have any photos or videos it will appear as though there are none. However, if you are only using the SD card, you need to look at the top right of your screen and change it to SD card. I haven’t figured out a way to make that a default. Perhaps that’ll be something that will be changed in the future. So don’t be fooled. There are videos out there if you have the SD card installed in the unit. But this isn’t a deal breaker. IT WORKS!

I’ve been testing theses security cameras for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Setup was surprisingly simple — just plug in, sync through the app, and it was ready to go. Solid security cameras.
I have another model of this camera which I also gave 5 stars for. The image is very good and the battery life is good depending on how often you check the image. This model instead of the ball camera snapping magnetically into the cup, the camera has a small screw hole and the the cup has a threaded arm to go into it. It works fine but I found it got slightly less of an angle. I preferred the older mount. I will up date with pics soon as I’m back at our camp where these are located.Edit: Updated review. I can verify that the picture quality and battery life are still very good. Almost a month and it’s at over 90% still. I added a pic of this cam on the bottom and the other camera above. Slightly different. Both magnetic. But this one has a small arm it screws on while the older one sits in the cup. This is the best angle you can get with either. You can’t get a full 90 degree angle with either but I found places to move it so that wouldn’t matter. Still very happy with these.

A very good camera at a very good price.
Very easy to install. The camera has a magnet that allows it to be mounted on metallic objects and a metal plate that easily mounts to walls. This allows the camera to be very easily moved when needed. That is awesome and I did not expect that. The video quality is good, as is the streaming rate. The app interface is well made with lots of advanced options. Videos can be stored in the cloud ( for a fee) or a micro SD for free. The battery has lasted three days now without recharge and is at 50 percent. Usb-c charging port allows for the addition of a solar charge panel. I highly recommend this camera, a great value.

I purchased the AMTIFO wireless, outdoor magnetic camera (Model CG9), and I am completely unsatisfied with it. The so-called magnetic mount is trash. The black magnet glued to the back of the plastic mount is weak on its own, and it doesn’t completely cover the back. If you add the weight of the camera, it will crash to the floor/ground. With a separately purchased mount, perhaps you could make it work.I tried to use this camera outside. In my case, it gets a medium strength signal about 25 feet from the wifi router. Any further out than that, the signal begins to weaken. 25ft away from the router is not the desired location for the camera. I need it further away than that. This issue makes the camera useless for outside.The Vicohome app is slow to load and display live footage. However, I was able to select the length of videos stored locally on the memory card.I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this amtifo CG9 wireless outdoor camera to anyone.

Fantastic quality
The quality of the camera is fantastic and very easy to operate. I love having these in my home and being able to check on my dogs any time of day. I love the cordless feature!! I gave 4 stars because the battery only lasts a week before having to be recharged. Not a big deal, just a little annoying.
