    Great value!
Really nice camera. I LOVE the side camera feature! So Clever!Picture quality is good enough to get the job done. I used this to inspect electrical wires behind a wall.Note: The Xscope app has some bad reviews due to privacy policy concerns. Proceed at your own risk!

    Good value camera
Needed a look into a clogged drain. This camera worked perfectly. Doesn’t work well around sharp corners. Good camera quality. Side camera is a huge plus!

Better than most higher priced scopes.
Worked better than expected. Very clear pictures and videos. I like the ease of use through a phone app. I borrowed a scope from a coworker that had it’s own screen and the user interface was very difficult to use. I decided to get one that simply plugged into my phone. I’ve used Snap on endoscopes in the past and this puts those to shame. This one fit the bill perfectly. Very easy to use with my Samsung Galaxy phone. I attached photos and video to this review to prove its clarity. Swapping from front camera to side is easily done as well as brightening and dimming the led lights. Would definitely recommend this scope and definitely worth every penny.I added a few photos of the hook and magnet attachments. There is a cap that unthreads from the end of the camera and that’s where the attachments thread on. Very secure and won’t fall off and get lost like clip on attachments do.

    A cool tool
See things you never wanted to. It’s long enough to go down your drain and then some. Great for at home diy with a solid camera and light. The app is good but never tried WiFi on it. Camera is crystal clear and can help identify problems.

    Try something else
Spend the money for something better. I tried this for a bit now, and it still is not what it should be. Used it for drains on my boat, and it worked for about a week. The camera went dull and the connections were choppy with the app. Worked half the time and the picture quality was fair at best. A good effort and idea, however a bad execution of the product.

    1) The instructions are very clear. It’s easy to follow and understand how to use the endoscope.2) The instructions say to download the Xscope app but I just used the “Usee Plus” app because I have used “Usee Plus” in the past.3) I had to turn on OTG on my Android phone in order to use this endoscope. Otherwise, my phone would not detect the camera.4) There is a light on the end of the camera. There is a turn dial close to the USB-C end of the cable/camera. Supposedly, you can make the light dimmer. To me, the light looked to be either low or high. While turning the dial the light looked to be the same until the dial reached the highest setting. That is when the light was really bright.5) You are able to take pictures and videos. There doesn’t seem to be a microphone on the camera. I didn’t hear any sounds in my videos. There is no microphone advertised anywhere but I thought I would just mention it.6) a) Out in the open (such as a bedroom), the picture is really clear and bright when the light is on. When I turn off the lights, I can only see things when the camera is close to the item.6) b) I put the camera under my closet door (no lights; pitch black) and pushed it through into the middle of my closet, if the camera is pressed up along the floor then you will mostly see the floor. I can partically see items in my closet when the camera is close to them (just like in my bedroom). Once I was able to get the camera lifted off of the floor then I was able to see a lot more. As in, I can see a lot more of the items in my closet. It was very clear what I was looking at.7) The product page says that the camera is IP67 waterproof. So, I guess this camera should be fine to put down your toilet or in a drain pipe. I didn’t try this camera under water. So, I cannot comment on this feature.8) There is no way to charge your phone while using this camera. I would suggest to make sure that your phone has a good charge before using this camera.9) The Usee Plus app allows you to rotate the picture on your phone by pressing the icon with the 2 arrows that form a circle at the top and near the middle of the app. So, if the picture is upside down then you can rotate the picture until the picture is right side up. The picture will rotate by 90 degrees when you click on the button.10) The icon just to the right of the rotate icon will change the picture from coloured to black and white.11) I couldn’t figure out what the top right icon does in the Usee Plus app.12) There is no carrying case included.I can definitely recommend this endoscope camera but I didn’t test this camera in water.

the light on the camera is pretty bright, image isn’t the greatest but functional as a tool.I’m happy that the required app didn’t require nor asked for an account to be made! that’s rare and appreciated.Because It didn’t ask for an app, I was hopeful it would use a standard UVC protocol (meaning it would just show up as a webcam on computers), However it wasn’t recognized as a UVC device, so without some hacking it can’t be used on a computer.Normally I would be done my initial testing of the product here, but Again, Because of the lack of requirement for an account, I was hoping this company would have their hardware open enough to be able to run on a computer even though it isn’t advertised for it. So I used the QR code within the manual for the “online manual” to see if there were more details. — It was a broken link. And browsing the website for the manual only came up with the safety sheet – which was already included in the box. I hate “video” tutorials, so Initially Ignored that QR code, but seeing that the one for the online manual didn’t work I tried the QR code for the video tutorial as well, (which I normally would have skipped) That one works and leads to a YouTube video. To get it working you simply open the app and plug in the camera (at least for the Android version). No manual or video needed really. It’s a USB-C connection but I wonder if it would work with a micro USB adapter for older phones… I would think something like this is simple enough that it would still work… at least for Androidfor iOS (apple products), Apple, outside of locking you into their ecosystem, also limits any experimentation whatsoever My guess would be that the app store would have something blocking even downloading of the app on older devices. When I get some time I’ll try and dig out an old android phone to test this with…I’ll also bug a friend who owns older apple device that has a lightning connector to see if the app even shows up and/or downloads… If it does then I’ll borrow the phone to see if the camera would work with an adapter. These are interesting questions that I love to test. If I have the time I may try to analyse the raw data coming from the camera to see if I can hack up something that works on a computer. I find it very unlikely that they wrote a video protocol from scratch. It’s just a matter of figuring which one they used…I don’t know why I had the impression that it would be wireless when I purchased — I guess because a bluetooth module can be so tiny these days. But it simply plugs in via usb-c. So older apple devices
