Worth every penny
Easy to install! My CD player is at the top of my dash so it’s in a perfect location. Love the swivel so I can push my phone up out of the way when I need to see the back up camera. And the magnet is VERY strong. I live on a very bumpy road and the phone has never budged.

Best phone holder for gig workers!
My husband and I just started doing gig work a few months ago. It only took about 2 months of constant use before my official Popsocket phone mount broke. Thinking that, since we have Popsockets on our phones, we NEEDED a Popsocket mount, I went ahead and spent $30 on a new one.Shortly after, I randomly came across a reddit post, praising these magnetic cd phone mounts. I told my husband about it, and he bought one. We both instantly fell in love with it!I ordered one for myself right away, and I returned the Popsocket mount I had bought.Being a gig worker, we’re constantly taking our phones on and off the mount. A 4 hour route, with 40+ deliveries, means we’re taking our phones off and on the mount at least 40X a day. That’s a LOT of use!Being magnetic, it’s so much faster and easier to take the phone off and on the mount. And with it being installed in the cd player, I don’t have to worry about issues with suction, or stickiness. The hot desert heat, where I live, isn’t a good match for the sticky phone mounts. And I’ve never been able to get the suction ones to work right.I have a big, fat case on my phone, and the magnet still works perfectly through it.I personally haven’t had my phone come off the mount while driving yet, but my husband drives a big, bumpy truck, and one of his routes took him on a rough, rural, rocky, dirt road, and he said the phone wouldn’t stay on the mount. But it’s held up fine for us on regular dirt roads, so I can’t really complain about that.I love how easy it is to adjust the position of the phone. And the height and distance is perfect for me to glance at the gps, or to quickly select something on my screen, while driving. (Please do not text and drive, even WITH a phone mount. It’s just too dangerous, and not worth someone’s life.)I cannot think of anything negative to say about this phone mount, but I will update my review if anything changes. As of right now, it’s absolutely perfect! My husband and I love them, and comment on it every time we do a route together.(Pics show phone mount, and the now stuck, Popsocket mount base that I can’t remove from my car..)

Sturdy mount
Got this mount to hold a 7inch CarPlay screen I also purchased on amazon. The magnet connection is great, very sturdy. Unfortunately the adhesive from the steel plate comes off my tablet due to the Texas heat in the car. Will have to find another solution to stick the steel plate on the tablet.

Very good……but
This cd mount is the very thing I’m looking for, and I don’t need to block my vent now. The magnet is very strong. Inserts into the CD player easily. It holds my wireless 9 inch carpuride screen without difficulty. But, after a few weeks, the holder fell out of my CD player. I noticed the adhesive used on the 3 little pads was not holding them in place, and they were sliding off. NO FRET…….I just put a few dabs of krazy glue on each one. Held them firmly in place for a couple of minutes and let it set out for an hour before putting it back in. I wanted to be sure the glue was dry before reinserting the mount in my cd slot. I had no plans of krazy gluing the mount to my cd slot. Now, no more falling out.Also, I do like the wing nut used to adjust tightness. It is easily accessed. However, I found that I do occasionally give it an extra twist every few weeks just to secure tightness. But, I don’t really notice any movement…….even when going over bumps. Don’t over tighten it though, also, I inserted mines with the wing nut on the top or north end of the holder.They also send extra pads in case you have extra movement or play when you tighten it (aka your cd slot opening is a bit wider).As I stated earlier, I would suggest using some firm pressure to slide the pads off of the mount, , and putting some super glue or krazy glue on them. If you use the extra pads, I would suggest probably putting a few dabs of krazy glue on them too.They also send 3 magnets with the mount. So, I can mount my car screen, or my cell phone, or my wife can mount her cell phone to it.So, if you have an older car like me, and your CD player is bored and begging you for something to do, you are tired of your spouse complaining because your tablet or cell phone blocks the middle vent on their side, get this mount. You won’t regret it. I know I don’t.

SMALL, SLICK, AND EFFECTIVE!
I’d already gotten tired of opening spring-loaded wings and lowering little shelves to mount my phone on a holder in my car. Then I saw these magnetic mounts and thought I’d give them a try. I’m glad I did. They are so much easier to use. It has a very small profile, and fits directly into my CD slot (which I don’t use otherwise). A thumbscrew tightens it snugly into the slot and once you adjust the angle you want your phone to be held, you’re ready to go.My phones, both a Galaxy A5 and a Pixel 8, are bigger than typical phones and are not strongly attracted to a magnet. However, the mount comes with a self-adhesive metal plate that can be stuck on the back of the phone to enhance the attraction. I typically put silicone cases on my phones (I drop them a lot), so I stuck the plate inside the case instead of on the phone itself (see pic). This works very well and I have never had a phone slip from the holder even with a charging cord attached.Highly recommend!

Excelente producto, tenía miedo que quedara suelto o que el imán no fuera muy potente. Pero todo lo contrario, se sujeta bien a la ranura de CDs y el imán es super potente.Lo recomiendo mucho, en toyota Matrix 2007 y con una Huawei Mate Pro 13.2“ queda perfecto. No estorba a la palanca de cambios ni al volante, el único detalle es que el botón de Hazzard queda tras la tablet, pero quizá para un teléfono o tablet más pequeña son dificultad accedes al Hazzard.En topes y terraceria reacciona muy bien y no se resvala ni vibra exageradamente.Recomiendo mucho para actualizas su sistema de infoentretenimiento.

In mijn auto is het heel moeilijk om een telefoonhouder te plaatsen die blijft zitten. Desondanks dat de auto zeer recent is, heeft hij nog een CD-speler. Deze houder blijft daar goed in zitten! De magneten zijn ook sterk genoeg om mijn telefoon vast te houden.

It’s a product which is very stable and doesn’t rattle like other phone holders which I had in the past. The only drawback (mine is 2017 Fortuner) is that it covers the multimedia screen.
