You have to learn how to use it. Once you have an idea about how much you need and how much this can produce, it comes in very handy. Easy to clean with dishwasher.

Good quality for a refurbished processor.
Saved a lot of bucks buying this refurbished food processor. Packed and looked brand new. It is smallish, but works like a charm. It has a good sized feeding tube, unlike so many other brands. Very pleased with purchase!

Good, but for shredding
Seems sturdy and like it’s a good quality product, but it doesn’t shred cheese. When you put cheese in there to shred, it just sort of pulverizes it. There are no stringy pieces of cheese like there should be and I’m not not sure why. Otherwise, I would’ve given it five stars.

A little extra safety in the design.
This has a safety features I wasn’t expecting where the handle has to align with the lid in a specific way to trigger a spring in the handle, otherwise it won’t turn on. Good for anyone that has kids that might get into kitchen appliances when adults are not looking. It shreds a full container of chicken breast in 30 seconds. Very easy to clean as well. I am still trying to get used to using the disk blade, but it cuts very well.

Outstanding Quality and Performance
I have really put mine into work since its arrival 30 days ago. I’ve made salsas, smoothies, soup bases, pie fillings, ground cookies & wafers for pie crusts, and more. Minimal noise and no struggling to chop or puree anything I’ve fed it so far. Simple to operate. Being a food processor, it’s not good for “chopping”, as in dice-sized chunks, but for smooth to somewhat-chunky thick consistencies, it’s great!Its only drawback is that the low capacity for really liquid-y ingredients, < 4 cups max.Black and Decker has always been a reliable brand in all types of items from workshop to kitchen.
