This camera is great. Clear pictures, the color and picture quality could not be better. The price was amazing and it was so easy to set up it literally took me 3 minutes!

A plus, sturdy, attachable, new AI serves as an amazing baby monitor
Another reliable little camera from Blink that does its job to perfection. Although the base is a bit different from my old Minis (3 still in use, some four years plus) which is easier for flush-mounting but not as easy for “creative” mounting (i have one with mini zipties upside down like a bat on the end of a curtain rod slightly hidden for an overhead baby monitor) but still very sturdy and “attachable”. A plus. Also works well in conjunction with an audio baby monitor or in lieu of one.

It has a light?! The mini camera is amazing and definitely an upgrade from our last one. The view is wider and the sound is more clean. The motion detection is spot on and even better with the bot telling you exactly what’s going on. The connection is amazing and takes no time

Easy to set up and get connected to wifi & mobile device
I love how easy these caneras are to set up. The gard3st part is getting the wires mounted so they’re hidden, but that’s personal preference. I like to have to wires as incisible as pissible. If you’re not worried about that, these cameras cannot be beaten.Picture quality on the mini 2k is pretty incredible. Fqcial expressions from 25-30ft away? Impressive. Documentation states 138° FOV, but it sure feels/appears wider. 150° seems more like it, but I’ll take them at their word.The aperture is wide enough that i don’t use night-vision on the 2 i have mounted indoors. Ambient light, at night, along with all the lityle vampire lighting around the room seems to be enough to where the night image is very good even without IR.I’d recommend these due to their ease of setup, alone. I’m old and i found setting these up and getting them connected to my wifi & mobile device was beyond EASY. Didn’t need a synch module and the cameras up at the front of the house are a solid 75ft away from my wifi access point, so connectivity at distance is excellent. All my cameras are mounted inside my house (outdide views are covered by mounting them on the inside of outward racing windows.Excellent product and I’d highly recommend them.

Good basic camera for peace of mind.
Decent camera with a lot of cool features at a reasonable price…especially if its on sale. I purchased it to keep an eye on my small apartment while I’m out of town, as my neighborhood isn’t exactly known for safety, peace and quietIt seems a little less bulky than a ring indoor camera, and is certainly a little less conspicuous than the indoor ring cameras I’ve seen. The setup was incredibly easy, even for someone like me who is not tech savvy for someone my age.The camera quality isn’t jaw-dropping but it is absolutely sufficient for its purpose. Same goes for the audio. There is a blue light indicator that shows when the camera is runing that can be disabled if you prefer. The motion detector works well. The unit also features an LED light and a speaker to comunicate remotely with anyone in the presence of the unit.A subscription is not required but is definitely recommended in order to use some of the best features. They provide you with a free 60day trial and after, that the basic paid plan is listed as a reasonable $40 (I am only at the 8th day of my trial). The free plan will not allow you to record and save their cloud, which is pretty important if you are unable to check your phone at the moment the motion detector is triggered. However they do sell storage units to store locally, but to me the subscription seems to be the better option. The paid plan also has some little additional features that I will probably not use.I am pretty happy with this purchase and even have more on the way from amazon.

Update – the camera’s wifi is fine, for 802.11 b/g/n
When it works, the video is outstanding. However, it’s not ready for prime time yet.The WiFi performance not nearly as good as the Mini 2 (non 2K) model. I have 6 mini 2’s, and 4 mini 2 2K’s, and the 2Ks can’t stay on line for more than a day. The Mini 2’s have been on line for months.Granted, I am a non-typical user, I run a Firewalla Gold netowrk appliance into an AX11000 configured as an access point. I have over 50 IOT devices on the networks. They all work consistantly and stay on line, except for the Mini 2 2K’s. All of the cameras are within a 30 foot sphere of the access point, i’ve measured WiFi signal strength at their locations, and it’s easily sufficient to allow these devices to operate properly. Other devices further away have no problem.So, I’d wait until they get their networking/WiFi issues solved with this new product. The Mini 2’s are awesome, but not the 2Ks yet.UPDATE – the problem was on my side – i have 3 access points connected to a firewalla gold se router. One of the access points was overloaded on 2.4 with devices that only use 802.11 b/g/n, which is what the Mini 2 cameras use, and that standard is from 2009 – it’s virtually impossible to get more than 20 clients on line in a single channel. So, I moved them to a less loaded access point, and everything works great.It would be fantastic if they used 802.11 ax from 2019, it uses OFDMA, MU-MIMO and is capable of managing many many more clients than the old standards.So, they work great, just be careful with how much you load onto a single 2.4 channel.

Works great! Now I can keep an eye on my mom in her house to be sure she’s safe! And I can talk to her too! Highly recommend for monitoring elderly parents!
