Can’t say enough great things about this camera!
I cannot express just how much I love these cameras! I’ve used several camera’s around my house before and one of the biggest hassels is always trying to figure out where I can put them and still be able to plug them in so they will work. The struggle has definitely been real HA! With these, I was able to completly elimate that issue! I wasn’t sure how well the solar panels would work at first, but I am highly pleased with the results!! I haven’t had a single issue with them staying charged at all. Granted, they do also run on batteries, but the built in solar panel keeps them charged and has greatly extended the life of the batteries. Even better, you don’t have to worry about the power going out and losing your power source. The camera will continue to record. They can even hookup to my wifi without issue and the picture quality is GREAT!! And for a set of four solar powered cameras, the price couldn’t be better. The camera itself is very well made and heavy duty, and the app is easy to pull up and use on your phone from anywhere. Another added bonus that you don’t see in most other camera’s is the color night vision! Typically night vision on a camera is all black and white. Not with these though! I love the picture quality and that you can see in color even when it’s dark!! It supports both SD and cloud recording and will auto detect when there is any movement or sound. If you’re wondering how it holds up in the weather, we recently had multiple tornados come through and the cameras were even able to withstand the severe rain and winds! Overall, this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solar powered camera system.

Very satisfied with the image, performance, and quality of this solar wi-fi camera
This solar powered wi-fi camera works exceptionally well and is very good value. First, it’s made using durable materials and is surprisingly hefty (probably due mostly to its internal battery). The case is metal with a rugged built-in solar panel. The mounting bracket that’s provided is also sturdy.Setting up the camera was easy using the instructions provided. You first need to download the Wansview app to your phone. You then add the appropriate S1 camera device and select the “Wi-Fi connection by QR code” option. Point the camera at the QR code displayed on your phone to initiate the process. It only took a couple minutes to connect the camera to my home’s wi-fi network and add it to the app.I’ve been using this camera for a while now, and I’m impressed. The solar panel works very well and keeps the camera fully charged even on cloudy days.I primarily use the camera to monitor my backyard, including a nearby birdfeeder. The image quality is very good as can be seen in the attached photos and video. The night vision is also very good in IR mode. I set the camera to “Auto infrared mode” and do not use the built-in camera lights available by selecting “Full color night” since they not needed in my application.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this camera. The image quality is excellent, the solar panel keeps the battery charged, the wi-fi reception is very good, and it’s overall a great value for the price.

Way better than expected!
I’ve had these cameras now for several months. One great feature of these cameras is that they work with either solar or plugged in via the USB cable. One of mine is installed in an area that doesn’t get any sunshine, so I simply installed it under the eave (so it’s out of the weather) and was able to plug it into a nearby outlet (I did have to supply the USB power adapter). They can also be used this way inside, so I use one inside to be able to check in on my pets. There is also two way audio, so it would make a great front-door camera. There is a slight lag in the video and audio, but I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t actually looking for it.Setup was a breeze – I used the QR method with the app, so once it displayed the QR code on the phone screen, I just pointed the camera so it can see the phone screen, and setup completed within a few seconds. I was two rooms away from my router, and too lazy to move the cameras closer, but it still worked fine (the instructions recommended being 1-3 feet away).When viewing the cameras thru the app, they come online very quickly – my older (circa 2018) battery-operated cameras seemed to take forever to come online when you wanted to view them.If using these cameras for security, there is a ‘siren’ option that can be enabled when motion is detected. It’s not a ‘wake the neighbors’ siren, but definitely loud enough to get the attention of anybody walking past the camera.Video playback thru the app works great, and video quality is superb. I really haven’t found anything that I dislike with these cameras so far, so I’m hoping they last a long time!

très satisfaite de cette petite caméra solaire qui contrôle la garrigue jouxtant ma maison. aucun fil, capte le wifi de ma terrasse. Installation facile grâce au code QR et intégration dans mon appli wansview (j’ai déjà 3 cameras Q6 dans ma maison et idem chez ma maman). Les images sont claires (bonne qualité de nuit également), les alertes sont réactives en cas de détection de mouvement et arrivent sur mon telephone. Bon rapport qualité prix. elle fait le travail que j’attendais ! J’avais sollicité le service clients pour choisir la caméra adaptée : il est à l’écoute et répond rapidement.
