    Great printer for your office
I recently got this printer and I gotta say, it’s been a game-changer for my home office. Setting it up was smooth, especially with the wireless feature, so I didn’t have to mess with any cables. The print quality is sharp, and it’s really fast at 35 pages per minute. I’m all about getting things done quickly, and this printer definitely delivers on that front.I also love the auto duplex printing, which is perfect for saving paper when I’m printing long documents. The fax, copy, and scan features are all reliable too. The only thing that could be improved is the initial setup – I had to spend a bit of time getting everything hooked up, but once it was done, it’s been smooth sailing. Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone who needs a fast, reliable printer for their home or small office. The only other downside is the cost of toner replacements, which can get a little pricey in the long run, but honestly, it’s pretty efficient, and the print quality is sharp and clear. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid pick if you just need something to handle all your basic printing tasks. It’s fast, reliable, and won’t break the bank upfront, though you might want to budget for those toner costs.

Total Junk, Barely Works, Not Recommended
This printer is horrible, don’t buy it. It won’t work at all unless connected directly to my computer by USB–it won’t work at all with any kind of USB hub or pigtail. When it is connected direct to my computer, it barely works. It constantly gives non-describe “Error” messages and I need to restart the printer and/or my computer pretty much every time that I print. I’m running a powerful, new, windows machine with all updates and a new download of the printer software. This printer is total junk.

Solid printer that does it all
This item is an all in one monochrome wireless printer. It’s a Canon imageCLASS MF287dw. We use Canon printers at the office and the IT guys swear by them. Besides printing this device comes with scan, copy and fax capabilities. The unit is pretty compact in size compared to my old one, which is nice for my cramped home office. It was relatively easy to set up, as I have set up other printers in the past. The interface is intuitive and the control panel is easy to navigate making it simple to use. I was able to connect it to my wifi router and that allowed me to set up printing from my desktop, laptop and tablet wirelessly. I haven’t got around to seeing if I can get my phone to print too, but it is suppose to. The wireless feature is just so darn convenient. The only wire I have from the printer is the power cord. The printer prints fast like the high end printers we have at the office. Maybe not as fast, but much faster than my last laser printer. The print quality it top notch. Included is an automatic document feeder for scanning and copying multipage documents. It picks up each page without any skipping like my old scanner used to do. It prints on both sides of the page, which I guess is common today. I haven’t been able to test the fax yet, as I don’t have a phone connection for it. The toner is not cheap, but the printer itself is a good price point. I don’t know how long a toner cartridge lasts as I haven’t finished the one that came with the printer yet. Overall, this is a solid all-in-one laser printer that is great for my home office and general home use. I am a fan of this imageCLASS MF287dw.

All in one office printer, fax and scanner
It took me some time to post this review because I wanted to truly test this item out with all the features:- I have a home office and a downtown office but after COVID I tend to use my home office where I already had a laser printer. This, however, is an all-in-one printer, scanner, and fax with an impressive document feeder, excellent app for my phone and interactive tool for my desktop.- Fax It took me some time to actually use this feature due to the lack of need for fax but it is essential that my office has the capability – the fax intake rate is great, the fact that I can put a multipage document into the feeder, dial the number and walk away is great – the machine has a good degree of sophistication and prints out, if you desire, a fax confirmation report.- The scanner is great and it works perfectly with Adobe and for creating PDF documents – love the document feeder again in a allowing me to scan in multipage documents.- Printer – last but not least – fast and crisply printed documents – excellent laser printer – good interaction with the app and the PC interface. The machine is well built, and the paper tray is easy to load and fill – also printing envelopes and labels is a breeze. Finally, easy to connect to WIFI and I love the air printing capabilities – once connected I can give the print command from anywhere in my house. Perfect heavy duty laser printer/scanner/fax for home office or even a traditional office.

printing for days! make sure you have room for it
If you have the physical space for this printer, you aren’t terrified of the toner prices, and the specs meet your needs, probably go ahead and get it. After installation (driver software, app, etc.), every function I have tried has just worked without issue. I’ve had no hiccups printing from multiple devices (again, after setup) and the scans are nice and crisp. I just wish it didn’t take up so much space, and toner wasn’t worth its weight in gold…

Photocopier like printing speed… not immediate plug and play, but simply FOLLOW THE PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS and you’ll have zero issues. It clearly states do not connect by usb before downloading the app/software….pretty simple. We set up software on one computer, then set up the printer following instructions to connect to wifi, and boom. Then added the second computer, and two android phones. The machine works great, very fast, excellent print quality. FAR faster and immediate startup from power on, than any ink cartridge I’ve ever had. No grinding, no head cleaning, just boom. I did not sign onto the toner plan you can opt into, probably a bad idea unless you print a lot. Scanner works great with flatbed and feeding (for legal and odd sizing). After a month, I have zero issues other than my mother in law turning the thing off when I try do anything with it. Great buy for home use. No regrets not getting colour, decided that for the amount of colour I’ve used the last 10 years, if I really need colour I’d usb myself to the copy /photo finish store. You’ll save on ink cartridges for sure.
