The easiest to use microwave oven 900 watts
I bought the 900 watt model. The compartment and turntable will take a 12″ pizza, and the compartment is very tall. You can easily put in a tall 4 quart pyrex pitcher with dry pasta and water in it, for to make lots of spaghetti.Turntable turns on rollers, very good system, works well.To use: Turn the top dial to low, defrost, medium low, medium, mediumhigh, or high (6 wattage levels).Rotate the bottom dial to the time you want 0 to 30 minutes. That’s all, nothing else. When you close the door it will start. Will only chime once when done, not a continual annoying steady tone. The one I ordered was from Amazon Warehouse. It was labled “Very Good”. It looked and operated as Brand New to me. Amazon Warehouse items are always in better condition than advertised, in my opinion.I got the last 900 watt model on Amazon. But they may come back in stock some day. They still have lots of the smaller compartment microwaves that operate the same but with less wattage (only 700 watts). The big one is rugged and weighs 30 pounds. The smaller one is also heavy about 22 pounds.Easy to clean. The smaller one has the dials reversed in position compared to the larger size oven, 700 watt = timer dial on top and heat level dial on the bottom.900 watt= heat level dial on top, timer dial on bottom.I think this is the best microwave oven at any price because it is so easy to use.

Just The Best. No more explosions or wondering which button.
Just set the time and the amount of power. Best example of less Is more. 2 rotary knobs and ONLY 1 LITTLE DING when done. On my old one, I would stand there to keep it from beep beep beep beep beeping. This one is civilized with only 2 ding. The other great thing is not using too much power causing explosions in the microwave. My old microwave over did everything and I had to clean the inside all the time. Now it stays clean. It is a 900 watt and my old obe was 1000. I mostly use the Mediun setting and 1 to 2 minutes for almost everything.*** the knobs are hard to read so I put a small, Thin Tape to point to the power. I Also put a broccoli rubberband on the timer to improve the grip.A regret is that the light turns off with the timer and not with the door closing. Small livable differences for much less explosion cleanups.Over all… love it and the smaller glass turntable seems just right and so much easier than the bigger sizeI don’t seem to use the higher power settings at all.

Simple, nothing to learn, no horrible beeping.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:So sick of complicated interfaces that need to be learned and then fill the room with annoying beeping. This is simple twist of a dial and a pleasant ding to indicate completion.

Solid low tech option
Good microwave with two dials- no buttons or touchpad to break! Perfect for my office. It’s a decent size, has different heat settings, and a turntable.

Makes my life easier
I love how you can adjust power or time any way you like while it’s running, which makes it a little more like using a range, but more efficient. It’s not precise for times <60 seconds. Sometimes, I stand by and count 10-20 seconds, and then turn it off. Or I can open the door to check it and simply close the door to turn it back on again. No need to hit another button for that. If I don't feel like babysitting, I utilize the power settings to make up for lack of precise cooking times.I often don't use defrost or reheat settings on other microwaves that have buttons because it prompts for more numbers for quantity/weight or something, which are meaningless and stupid, and give me very little control over the results. Many times they don't accept the numbers I punched in, and then "microwave says no". With this microwave, just turn a knob and, VOILA, it turns on.Like the range, you are more engaged in the cooking process because you're in complete control. Unlike the range, though, it automatically shuts off. So for some common cooking tasks, you can set it and forget it. When reheating a meal for 1, I just always use the medium high setting for ~3 minutes. The results are pretty consistent.

So easy to use. place food, twist one or two dials, close door = Cooking. However:
This replaces a smaller microwave cooker that was 35 years old!. They new one has 400 more watts and a slightly larger internal capacity. However, with the old one, the light was on when the door was open. Now it is on only when the unit is cooking. The previous unit had 5 stops for cooling level. This one is continuous but is not easy to see the location of the indicator as it is black-on-black. I placed a spot of white paint on the dial to see where it is.For older, or wet, hands it is a challenge to turn the knobs as they are totally smooth. I pulled off the old knobs and attached better ones. The timer is a simple twist. None of this keypad press, press, press, press, press, press, press, press, press to set cooking time/power levels. If you are stuck with a digital unit, have you ever pressed the 4, 7 , 8, or 9 for a setting? NOTHING in cooking needs that level of precision. The door is improved over the previous one. With this, an open door does not make the footprint wider as the other one did (by about 1/2″) Now, being up against the refrigerator, I do not have to provide that 1/2″ gap on the side to allow for the open door. The approximately $100 price is very appreciated. The original cost $79 back in 1989.
