Makes great coffee
Fantastic machine that works great. The pod side didn’t work at first, but I pressed the reset button as per the instruction book and haven’t had any problems since. I’m very happy.

Only if you like grounds in your coffee
WASTE OF MONEY! Don’t bother with this machine, you’ll only end up tossing it out the window in a month. Regular pot side works fine, but the coffee pod side is terrible. First the little button inside (that tells the machine it’s closed) wasn’t being pressed down enough so it always signaled the latch was open. Wouldn’t brew unless you keep a hand on top, applying slight pressure. I glued in a rubber foot, which solved that problem without affecting any other functionality of the machine.Second major issue is the coffee pods exploding. Randomly, yet frequently, those little plastic cups just bust right open sending coffee grounds into every nook and cranny of the internal space in the machine. There’s basically no way to clean all of it out, so any future cup of coffee that is successful will still have grounds in it. Reached out to customer service …they say it’s the needle that needs cleaning. Cleaned (unclogged) the needle. Cleaned it again, to be sure. Next pod used was fine. Pod after that exploded. Cleaned the whole machine again. Needle wasn’t clogged at all, but I cleaned it twice anyway just to be sure. Next pod exploded. I give up. Won’t even try to sell/give this away to my enemies!

Gonna try again
Going to try this again. The first one the pod button didn’t work. Tried the black button inside and still no luck. So hopefully I’ll have better luck next time. The coffee maker itself is beautiful and I really like that part of it reason for trying again. Update the second one works great. Makes delicious coffee. The K-Cup side works great also and leaves no ground in cup.

Nice looking machine
The combination of a single brew option, with a sleek pot and warming plate was hard to find for under $200. This was the best option after weeks of looking online. I purchased a $250+ SMEG machine from Amazon last year and it stopped working after 11 months. Hopefully, this one will last longer.

it works
This coffee pot works well. the carafe did shatter on the hot plate, not sure what happened. The pod section did have the problem that many had reviewed with the light not coming back on after the initial first use. There was a review that stated you could pull up on this grey, silicone ‘button’ behind where the pod itself sits and I got used to pulling that up all the time. Annoying but it worked, however if you have bigger fingers you would probably need a tool to help. Well I came upon a post that on Reddit that mentioned they had someone in customer service who knew how to fix it. You might need to uplug the machine the reset it first then pull up and down on that button several times (like 10) and it seems to fixed now. It sucks that an older carafe I kept from the previous maker doesn’t sit right on the hot plate and that the correct replacement is $50 through their website which is ridiculous as the carafe is useless without the maker. Their customer service can be iffy but thank you for finding out something that should have been in the instructions and they need to make parts easier to replace.

I made a good choice in choosing Cuisinart
This appliance is a beauty! My previous Cuisinart was still working but after over 5 years of daily use I wanted a change. There are so many neat features on this model including more pod size choices: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12oz. The reservoir is clear, removable & easy to fill. It’s nice to have the choice of making a carafe or just a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Set up was easy. There was one little glitch that the light on the single serve side would not illuminate, therefore turn on, after I performed the initial cleaning. I sent my concern via email to customer service and a reply came back in a flash with a remedy for that. It works perfectly now!

Do not buy!
We enjoy the craft side of this coffee machine. We have had major issues with the pod side. Each time we use it, since the first time, it overflows and grounds get all in the cup of coffee and also all in and around the machine. It is a pain to clean the grounds out of the machine because no parts come out to clean, you just have to wipe inside and around until all the grounds are gone, this is very time consuming. Also when I contacted Cuisinart customer service I do not think their return policy is fair. They want me to cut the cord to the machine, take a picture of this, send back the machine and then wait 2 weeks for the replacement, therefore we would be without a coffee pot for two weeks because they sell a faulty product? If I have to go out and get a new coffee pot I’m going to buy a new one and not waste 200$ on one that doesn’t work well. I asked if they could charge me for the new one, ship it and then refund me when they get my broken one back, so we can use the craft side in the mean time, so we don’t have to be without one. They told me no, and I will have to go without and wait for the replacement. Seems strange, I asked why they operate this way and they responded, “we have alot of fraud and don’t trust customers to return the products”. Well welcome to the world, everyone deals with fraud, unfortunately part of owning a company is making the customer happy and standing behind your product. Very disappointed in this company and the product quality. Do not buy this machine!

We had a Cusinart coffee maker for about 20 years, used it daily and it lasted that long. Last month, the water tank started leaking, so we had to get a new one. We had a Keurig but it was kinda crowded on the coffee cart, so I sold it and bought this one. So happy with my purchase! It’s easy to use, the single serve has more oz options than the old one and the coffee maker has a bold feature too. I got it for a really good price too! I hope it lasts as long as the last one!

We’ve always liked the Cuisinart name, liked the dual brew option and needed a new coffee pot. We purchased the coffee maker on October 30, 2024. It worked great, for a while. On April 5th, the maker stopped brewing after 1/3 of the carafe was full. The lights stayed on and everything was normal except for the fact it would no longer make coffee. As per the instruction manual, I unplugged the unit for a couple of minutes and tried again. The lights came on as usual but no luck with making coffee. I unplugged it again for a couple hours, but no change. I unplugged it overnight and tried it again the next morning with the same results. I called customer service on Monday morning and waited all day for a call back. The representative was quite abrupt, told me to send in my Amazon receipt and wait for a response – with no assurance of a response time.I liked the produce and know that sometimes things happen. I believe this company needs to have a more straightforward process to deal with issues like this – and would do well to upgrade the people in their call center…
