Worked great for 2 weeks
Second update 10-20-2022: Daybetter just sent a second set of lights and these seem to work as they should. Easy to setup Wi-Fi and light scenes now work. The scheduler works like a charm and is nice to automate. Daybetter seems to stand by its products and they seemed concerned that I was a happy camper and had resolved in 3 Days. Thanks Daybetter!Update 10-17-2022: DayBetter just got with me and are sending out a new set. I will update my experience with the new set after I get setup again. I was really impressed that DayBetter contacted so quickly, maybe I should have just emailed the seller but Amazon said item could not be returned.I was really excited to get these and try out. We just purchased a new home and now have a man cave to decorate. Setup was easy and the adhesion was good. The bad thing about these lights is that they have no way to add another roll easy without splicing with a kit sold separately, and they should have a 4 prong female plug on each side with a 2 sided male to connect and should come with a 6 foot white extension cord so dont have to run lit lights up corner of wall.It took one roll to go half way around room, then I purchased a link kit and the other roll lit up ok. For a couple days!After a week the red started looking like pink a foot from where power connected then they started turning different colors even though I selected red. When selecting blue I got green, Blue and yellow which was strange. Another week went by and now they dont work at all. maybe the set was a bad one, I dont know but sucks to only have working for 2 weeks for 30 bucks and 10 bucks for link kit. I was expecting more as they looked better than most light sets.Live and learn while companies get rich off of defective toys…!

So far, these lights are AWESOME!
I bought these lights because our living room has no overhead lights, and even with two table lamps, it was still too dark. We recieved these lights today and my husband and I both love them! They provide just the right amount of light, and the ability to change the colors is so awesome. Both of the table lamps also have multicolor smart bulbs, so now I can turn my entire living room any color I want by saying ” Hey Alexa, turn all lights purple/red/green”. Speaking of Alexa, it was extremely easy to integrate these lights with my system. They worked instantly with the same command as the other smart bulbs. The lights were easy to install and the adhesive appears to be holding well. In short, I highly recommend these lights.

Received replacement
Edit: seller reached out within 24hrs of my post. They offered a full refund or replacement. Since I’ve seen other great posts, and my daughter living the lights, I requested a replacement. It was the easiest and fastest process I’ve ever dealt with for any kind of replacement. The replacement was in the mail the very next day. So far so good.Bought these lights as Christmas present for my daughter in 2022. She had a few issues with parts of the light strip turning different colors, but didn’t feel it was a huge deal. It’s now October 2023 and the lights don’t even work. At first we thought it was the remote so we downloaded the app. We realized it wasn’t the remote after all. You can see the lights are very dim in the dark. I’ve tried everything and it appears they are just broken. I would have given this a 5 star when we first got them. Very easy to install and use. I give 1 star because we did enjoy them while they lasted, but they didn’t even last a full year.

Average set of affordable strip lights
Used this product to deck-out my friend’s room as an early Xmas present; I ended up having way more than I needed so I was able to mount them in the shape of buildings to make his wall look kind of like a city skyline. The lights did the job! Haven’t had any connectivity issues as far as I know so far, and they’re great for the price. It is 2 rolls of 50 feet, so that’s also a plus.Tips for mounting cheap strip lights:• if you need to unstick/restick a section of lights as you’re mounting them, be careful not to pull too hard – try pulling at a 45 degree angle from the surface instead of 90 etc• do NOT TURN ON THE LIGHTS WHILE THEY ARE STILL ON THE ROLL. This can cause the lights to quickly overheat, and/or cause a shortage that cannot be fixed• if/when you need to cross the strip over another make sure you DO NOT STICK THE BACKSIDE OF IT DIRECTLY ON TOP OF OTHER SECTIONS OF STRIP LIGHTS. Even if it’s not the same strip, every set of strip lights uses the same technology – im not going to go into detail about how it works lol look it up if ur curious but for reference, it’s almost like crossing the negative and positive terminals on a car battery – if you know anything about electrical currents, physics, etc you prob already know this but just wanted to put that out there.• if you’re wondering how to redirect the angle of the strip like make a design of some sort, especially for beginners:- first of all, do not try to buy the little connector pieces that are made to help make smoother looking corners etc. with cheap sets like these. In my experience, the only “results” you get is the shame of realizing you basically paid somebody to deliver broken lights and regrets packaged in a pretty lil box lol- Secondly, when turning the angle of it, make sure you pay attention where the light diodes are. That’s all you see when you turn the lights on, so you might want to make sure there’s a diode at each corner/turning point you make.• Lastly, you definitely need to wipe down the wall and let it dry before you stick the lights on. Rubbing alcohol works best and dries fastest, but water will do just fine as well.I know this review is excessive but hoping it’ll help somebody out there !

AMAZINGGGGGGH! I previously got led lights from temu and they sucked , so my hopes were low, but these are soo goooooood! These are cuttable, meaning that yes, you can cut them it they’re too long ! The remote and app and alexa option makes it so functional! The light is also so functional, but idk if it’s waterproof yet.
