This is a preliminary review only but the refreshed chromebook sent, though somewhat functional, is absolute garbage. Much older processor than what was listed, 2GB of capacity instead of 16. Refresh job is amateur at best and it smells like burning plastic. Will update my review if the replacement is what was advertised.UPDATE – quickly received the replacement and was really disappointed to find that they had sent the exact same thing. Customer service stated that they were unable to offer a replacement as this was the second claim on the same order. The CSR was kind and empathetic but what the actual fictitious nonsense, Amazon? No, I don’t expect anything like a new Chromebook, but I do expect Amazon to honor their advertisement and send the product that’s advertised without a broken case covered in obnoxiously smelly vinyl stickers to cover it up. At least it turned on, I suppose.

Has one key that you really have to press harder and one small scratch I can barely see on the screen. Hooks up right away to WiFi and no problems logging in or setting up!

Great deal for what you pay for it you can’t even tell it was refurbished works just as well as a brand new one and that $60 can’t beat that with a stick

Purchased for the kids as they use these in school. I remember when I used a small chalk board at my desk! The screen resolution is excellent and overall very bright and easily seen. The speed is really dependent upon the amount of apps open and space used. My daughter didn’t know the trash was still counted as memory, just a special note. The battery life is surprisingly well, just don’t leave them plugged in or it will kill the battery quicker. The screen hasn’t seen any scratches yet, so hopefully the kids are safe or this has a heavy scratch resistance.

Ad Stated 5 USB ports, there was only 1. I should have known better. No instructions or information included. Computer works though. I wish I would have known prior it was Chrome OS instead of Windows.

Arrived like brand new with a charger, i can hardly tell its been refurbished. I did have to factory reset it on arrival but other than that I’ve had no issues. I got it for school work and so far it works great. The battery life is pretty good. Very much worth it for the price

I was a little surpised when I powered on the Dell chromebook. I expected it would be sup-par, but was really impressed with how well it works, no problems with it yet. The refurb was clean and very little apparent wear on the key board or damage to the case.It was a really good deal for a $100.12 CAD!.So far it’s working fine.

Firstly, the chromebook I received has less ports than the images on the Amazon page. On the Amazon page each side of the chromebook has 1 x USB port and 1 x USB-C port, for a total of 4 ports. On the chrome book I received only one side has ports, for a total of 2 ports.Secondly, the keyboard was filthy. It didn’t go through a basic cleaning process, so my first experience with the device was scrapping gunk off the keys. This wasn’t even regular grey/brown finger keyboard gunk either, it was orangey-red. The only time I’ve seen gunk like this was when I drank too much wine in university and puked everywhere and it was somewhat dry the next morning. Pehaps that’s even what happened to this chromebook.On a possibly related note to the filthy keyboard, the ‘8’ key does not reliably work. It needs to be pressed very hard for the pressing of the key to register. It is possible other keys have this issue, I’ve only noticed the one so far.There is also a crack in the frame above the tracking pad. If everything else was okay, I wouldn’t let this get to me, but a crack in the frame is more than the ‘superficial’ imperfections that were advertised.I would be returning this unit immediately, but I need a laptop in a couple days for work. It does seem like it would be a decent unit if it were new or atleast didn’t have keyboard issues.What I received was clearly not what was advertised.

I was looking for a mini laptop just to do basic stuff and be able to transport easily. I came across this chromebook in the refurb section and took a chance. It is amazing! Exactly what I needed and it was so easy to set up & tether to my mobile data. Battery keeps a charge for days (unless of course you are using it constantly) but charging is fast. I love it and would recommend it 100%. Looks great too!

I received my new laptop today and I love it…arrived intact and in excellent condition! However I may have to return it as I do have a concern…the service number and model number information is missing and I don’t see where to plug in my mouse AND printer…
