Divoom Pixoo-64 – WiFi Pixel Cloud Digital Picture Frame

Very cool product and great customer service
I had the smaller version for a long time and love it. To the point I gave it to a friend and bought the biggest version. 3 months after there was an issue with one of the pixels. I was expecting the experience with customer support to be “can you send it back”. Which is always a pain in the butt and just aggravating. They asked me to prove my order and prove the problem with the pixel so I sent a pic of the amazon order details and pics of the problem pixel. They just sent me a new one out immediately. Class A service… The product itself is just a fun piece of tech. The colors it can produce is actually quite impressive. I would definitely recommend. The only small gripe is that I think the app could be a touch better, but I know this can be difficult. The fact that people can create the artwork/animations they do on it is actually impressive.

Pleasantly surprised!
This thing is actually worth it, which surprised me. I already have a weather station display, but the clock on it is too small, so this unit provides a much larger display, and in a fun way, with 5-day forecast on at least one of the pixel clocks. The key for me was to put this unit where it’s not right in front of me, which would be way too distracting. I put it on top of my tall display cabinet, only 6 inches from the ceiling – so I have to look up and to the left of my chair to see it, which works out perfectly. I use the setting where various clock designs change after a minute, which is the setting that is least annoying. There are a lot to choose from and most of them are quite stupid and childish, so I limited the selection to the ones that actually provide useful information and don’t have silly, always-in-motion animations.One exception: I added the ‘Cloud’ channel to the mix of clock/weather designs that switch around every few minutes, because the ‘Recommended’ setting of the Cloud channel displays some modestly interesting pixel designs that I usually don’t mind seeing when they catch my eye. After all, it’s a pixel display and it has a TON of pixel art, so that’s how I make use of it in that way: it cycles through clocks & weather, then plays Cloud channel pixel art for a minute, then back to the top. It’s not like all the stuff on the Cloud channel is good; most of it is ridiculously juvenile, and “Happy New Year” designs still playing in March, and WAY too much of the pixel art is too feminine and childish for a man cave type of usage – but some of it is fairly well-made; just barely enough good ones to let me keep the Cloud channel as part of the rotation. And remember, this thing is almost touching the ceiling and to my left, so I don’t see it unless I look – so I don’t mind seeing the silly useless stuff like jumping rabbits or kids hugging with hearts flying out when I randomly look at it, since I know it’ll switch to more mature, useful designs in a minute.The unit is very well made, easy to set up, and worth the price. I enjoy having it around to look at the time, temp, and forecast. The pixel art is often pretty bad & irritating, but it does have an early 90’s retro feel which has some charm to it, and if it gets on your nerves after a while, you can get rid of stuff like that.

very very cool display and super easy to use once you’re familiar with the app, forget what some others may say, it’s not difficult to set up or use the app, like anything there are a lot of features, which is a good thing, it just takes time to navigate and learn them all if you want to take full advantage of all of its features, not just use basic settings. I have it set up as you can probably tell to display family photos but can easily switch it for pre-programmable artwork of which there is a ton of, or I can literally create my own which I’m experimenting with and is really fun. It’s not the highest resolution because it’s 64 x 64 pixels, but that’s the point, it’s pixel art and again it looks really cool making for an excellent gift. I also got it for a believe 25% off plus another $22 clip and save so it was a good deal on top of it as I’ve been watching this model for a while now hoping it it would go on sale. Look into that Times Gate as well by Divoom, it’s probably my favourite accessory and is a little pricier than this device, but worth every penny as it is off the charts cool, and I’m 50 this year. it’s also designed to be tripod mountable upside down so the image can be reversed, and has two more tripod style mount on the bottom for similar reasons and comes with a kickstand of sorts so it can just lean back like a picture frame. No SD card slot as you will see in YouTube videos and on Google etc. but you don’t need it anyway as I believe it has internal storage as it works fine when my phone is not at home, or it’s simply working through Wi-Fi, I don’t know, either way it works. definitely well-built quality wise, solid unit and very well packaged as this is a highly regarded brand-name in the tech gadget industry so I didn’t expect anything less and I wasn’t disappointed because I love saving the boxes, especially once as nice as this and everything was very carefully packed neatly has to not be damaged etc. if you’re on the fence, just buy it he can always return it, it’s Amazon after all right?

Altijd vast in booth modus tot de laatste keer zelfs niets meer reageerde . Toen het 10 minuten werkte veel andere problemen zoals veel wifi verlies . scherm niet helder genoeg zelfs echt vaag . En traag .
