Has a few cons
Like: programable for delayed brew on a digital clock display. Small size so doesn’t take much counter space. Brews quickly. Turns itself off after an hour or two.Cons: the filters suggested for it are a little.too tall so the spray arm pushes filter edge in and if it is a full basket the grounds can go into the pot. I always manually push the spray arm over the basket before closing the lid. This one came with a small changeable filter. But it did not make a difference in the taste for our water. It also had to be manually placed or the water reserve lid would not close properly.The coffee, if used as instructed, is not strong enough for my preference ans there is no strength adjustment. I am going to keep it. It cleans easily and does the job. I just use more coffee or grind it finer.

Excellent small coffee pot! This mighty but small coffee pot has it all! It holds up to five cups of water, comes with a reusable coffee filter, and has stop and brew technology for when you need to grab a cup before it’s done brewing. It has auto shut off feature as well. This is a well functioning coffee pot. I would highly recommend this to all coffee lovers. It is well worth the price!

Perfect pot
Perfect 25 oz coffee pot. Brews fast and hot. I did have to grind the beans finer or maybe use more to get it the right strength. For those who complain it only makes 2 cups…realize a cup of coffee is only 5 oz.Edit.. it’s been a month or so and the burner coating is already beginning to wear off.

We are a retired couple and have been using a similar Maxi-Matic Elite Cuisine EHC-5055 Automatic Brew & Drip Coffee Maker for over 15 years. We recently bought our 3rd coffee maker and had even gifted similar product to our friends.

Not same carafe lid as my old Sunbeam so that became garbage (broke its carafe).Lid too low to trigger Sunbeam to drip.Same carafe though. It still drips unexpectedly when pouring at first.Moral of the story …If I’d kept the old lid, I’d have a choice of this black machine or my original 7yo white Sunbeam on the countertop.

I would have given this a 1 star, but the temperature is good and hot, and it seems to hold the heat for a long time, so I gave it a 2.I do NOT like the pot. At all. The spout is too far in from the body and it’s a small spout. This makes it hard to keep from spilling when pouring and it always leaks. Didn’t matter if it was a slow or fast pour – dripples all over – when pouring into a cup or into the water basin.I get that it’s trying to be “compact”, but with the water chamber having a small width and the awful pot, it always spills when trying to fill the chamber. If using something other than the pot, it might be “ok”, but still not impressed. The small width also makes it hard to clean, if grounds or other things get into the water chamber., even smaller hands is difficult.It is VERY loud, when finishing. So, if you are trying not to wake other members of your house (or the office in my case), good luck.Not happy.
