Cozy Mornings!
I love this mug. I work in a home office and easily get distracted with emails and I love how this mug keeps my coffee the perfect temp even if I get distracted with work. I will say, the battery doesn’t last too long if you’re not keeping it on the coaster, but since I primarily got this for an office it’s not a deal breaker for me. If it’s away from the coaster, it may only stay warm for around an hour, which is still a help in my opinion. Connecting the mug with the app every day is slightly annoying but not a big deal. I thought it would just stay connected after the first time but when I don’t open the app and pair it every morning it doesn’t get hot, only takes like 5 seconds though. Always room for improvement but overall I really like the mug. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the durability, so I’m curious how it will hold up over time, I also bought the protection plan just in case, but so far so good.

Worth it but too tiny
This product is quite impressive. While on the charger it will keep your beverage HOT all day. Off of the charger it keeps it HOT for 1 hr. While on the charger, it will heat up your beverage to HOT rather quickly. While off of the charger it takes way too long to do so. The product itself is amazing and I really recommend it for everyone who takes their time drinking and enjoying tea or coffee. I got this for my wife for Christmas because she constantly has to microwave her coffee because we have 5 children … but mainly because the 19 month old is demanding lol. I just regret getting a 10oz. I didn’t realize how tiny 10oz is because I assumed most mugs are 8oz. Wrong! lol. I am exchanging this for the 14oz. With the 10oz, once you put the coffee there’s hardly room for creamer and sugar (when it comes to a real coffee drinker). I gave it 5 stars because the product works excellently. The app is very impressive and fun (to me). I love to watch on the app how the T° of the coffee goes down immediately after pouring in creamer. I love it.You can customize the color code of the light on the mug and name the mug in the app. You can also set the T° you want your beverage to be going forward (set it and forget it). It’s awesome. I watched a YouTube video about the mug and the review said they don’t think it’s worth the $ although the product worked really well. That’s kind of an oxymoron. I think you’re getting what you pay for and in a good way. Your beverage literally stays HOT or (if you want) warm until the very last drop. I don’t often drink coffee or even tea, but when I do it’s Dos Equis lol jk… when’s I do I can’t stand where the last few sips are cold. I want to get one for myself except I hardly drink tea or coffee, just to show you how great the product is. I think the 10oz is too tiny. 10oz might not be as necessary to be in the size of a tech mug since it’s not much to begin with and can be finished rather quickly (although my wife still appreciates it in her lifestyle). For the real tea and coffee drinkers out there I highly recommend this product, but the largest versions.

Fantastic product
The Ember, 14 oz coffee cup is exactly what I was hoping for. I have used it for a week, and it has performed as I would expect. I get roughly 1 1/2 hours of hot coffee in the morning, which fits my life style – I am retired, so I have more leisurely time in morning. I keep the charging base next to the coffee pot and since they are both black, they look great. The design of the coffee mugs is excellent. The fit and feel are just right. The rubberized bottom and the overall weight are matched well with how I like a sturdy, yet thin walled design. The freedom of not having to have the charging base act as a warming plate is joyous. Once I finish, I just rinse, towel dry, and place back on charging station. In the afternoon, I switch to tea, with an occasional single cup of coffee and the EMBER is ready to go. It take’s approximately 2 1/2 hours to recharge and I have not found that to be an issue. The APP is simple and for those who like playing with the temp, is useful. The good news is that if you don’t want to use the APP, the product is completely seamless. The indicator light bar is almost unnoticeable (that is good) and switches from green (charged) to white when in use, to warm red when needing to be recharged. EXCELLENT PRODUCT – worth the money!

Ember cups are a fantastic concept and incredibly useful, but I’ve encountered some challenges with the company’s aftercare service. It’s frustrating that I’ve had to rely on Amazon for repeated replacements of my cups. For users who utilize them often, it can become a hassle to request repairs or full replacements regularly.It’s disappointing, especially considering the investment. I hope the company can improve their customer support to match the quality of their product!

The Ember Smart Mug 2 can keep your tea/coffee at the perfect temperature for hours, making every sip as good as the first. However if you like very very hot tea then this product is not for you. Because usually we like tea to be very hot. In short it does not give you a boiling hot tea. just enough to keep it not cold.
