    Nice little microwave
I really like this little 700 watt microwave. It’s perfect for our basement kitchen. It doesn’t take up much counter space. It’s very nice looking and works great.

    Quiet and reliable. Standard features.
The color is why I bought this, I admit. But also gside that, its a great oven. Its very quiet-i wonder if its on sometimes. Its 1000 watts which is perfect. Its easy to use if you e ever used a microwave. Which makes me so der why s9meone doesn’t design the keypads better? The layout for one but the ability to differentiate buttons better. I never use “potato” “pizza” and all those settings. But theyre on top, for example.Lots of roomindidecand a nice bright light versus a dim one that does nothing. Theyre put there. Its easy to clean, too.One thing that drives me crazy is the loud “ker-chunk” when the doors closed. That could be improved in 2025.Overall though its a great value and oven. And great color.

    Happy Wife Happy life
Have owned the microwave for a few months. Works so much better than our “old” Panasonic which had to be 15 yrs+ and reached EOL. First thing we noticed was the lack of bluetooth disruption and speed of cooking. Came well packed, undamaged and cosmetically as advertised with no flaws. Controls are easy (read the instructions). Fits nicely into my wife’s black, white and red kitchen decor.

Nice Countertop Microwave – Cool Color
I love my new Farberware Countertop microwave oven! I bought the red, which looks amazing in my kitchen and matches some of my other appliances. It has 1,000 watts and fits nicely on my countertop – not too small/not too large. And the price was right – only $109. To set the timer on “seconds,” push the “Time Cook” button, and then the number of seconds you want and push “Start” (it took me a minute to figure this out.) Now, the only thing I’m NOT crazy about, is that it beeps loudly, about 5 times in a row, at the end of cooking, but it I doubt I will be losing sleep over it. Overall a classy, cool look and functions well.

For the money, not a bad little microwave!
My old microwave finally gave up the ghost after around 13-14 years of pretty decent service. I mostly warm up meals and made-for-microwave entrees, and of course the obligatory batch of popcorn from time to time. Saw this pop up and it had pretty good reviews. Plus, I’ve owned Farberware products going back decades. I still have a Farberware Percolator coffee-maker that’s probably pushing 40 now, and a small countertop convection oven that I’ve been using almost daily for 16+ years. So I’m pretty cool with the brand. It has a much smaller footprint than the old microwave, but curiously has pretty close to the same sized heating chamber for capacity. This is rated for 1000w, and it definitely warms/cooks things much faster than the old unit. I can cook a full bowl of popcorn in 3 minutes in this one, whereas it took 4:30 in the former microwave. The front panel is sleek and simple, and for most things it’ll do just fine. If you want to warm something for 5 minutes, you just push the 5 button on the pad and walk away. It takes care of the rest. However, I think it’s unusually fiddly when you want to input a very specific cook time, like 3m20s. Yes, you can do it. But you have to go through this whole process of setting the power level first, then inputting the total cook time. It’s just a bit of extra keypresses when you need a very particular cook duration. It also seems a bit noisier to my ears than the old unit. Not necessarily standing under a jet engine noisy, but it’s definitely noticeable. I got used to it within the first few days, and it’s not that big a deal since I live alone, but if you’re given to late night kitchen raids and want to avoid waking the wife and kids, this one is going to thump and hum a bit.For under $100, I have no complaints. If it holds up as long as my other Farberware items, I should be set for the rest of my days. And if not, this didn’t break the bank, so it’s all good. For the cost and the efficiency I gave it 5 stars, with the caveats about the time input and noise. If you can put up with those, it’s a great value.

    Functional
It took me quite a long time to pick out a microwave in this class. My apartment is about 560 sq ft so I needed something smaller but at least 1000 W says it seems like most food packaging says that’s the requirement. This is working really well for me so far and heated a burrito at the same time as it said the heat and an 1100 W microwave. I’ve been testing it with a variety of items over the past week and it seems like so far it’s all working well. I also read the manual completely before using. It says to clean it but doesn’t say how to clean it so I wiped it out with a damp cloth and then checked the manufacturer website for their cleaning instructions which was to I microwave a bowl of water for three minutes and then let it sit for five. And then I wiped the steam down again. I’m really liking this little microwave so far. I’ve been saving the box in case I need to return it but so far it’s fine. The instruction booklet also says that the first time you use it it can smoke a little bit that’s normal and then you might smell something from the electronics a bit the next few times which means the circuit boards are curing. I didn’t experience any of that but I did make sure that the first time I used it I supervised it. I don’t do anything super complicated in the microwave, just heating up frozen healthy meals when I’m in a hurry, vegetables, heating coffee, etc. So far this is perfect for my needs. Fingers crossed this continues and it doesn’t crap out in three months. Will try to remember to update this if it does

I can’t say anything about this microwave. It’s beautiful, works nice, quiet. We love it and are very happy with our purchase. The black stainless is a nice look with the black inside.

My other microwave suddenly died & had no choice but to find one online, as I got injured & could not get out to shop for several days. This was the only model that I liked the look of that also fit into the exact cabinet space we’d had custom-made for the now-dead one, so a no-brainer.It also had good reviews, so was hoping to just kind of like it. Instead, I am very very happy with it.First worry was that it has a lower wattage than my other one did, but so far, no problem or appreciable difference in the speed of cooking. This one is very used friendly (other one was never that) & took almost no time to learn the new methods and buttons. I was worried I would not like the grey interior, having always had white ones, but it, too, is so much nicer than expected, and I doubt I will ever again buy one with a white interior. It cleans so easily, and looks beautiful. I’d buy this one again in a flash! And yes, as other reviewers have said, it is not a silent one! Noisy, yes, more than my last two were, but who cares? The stove, the regular wall oven, the blender, freezer, and mixers all make noise in use. I never expect to be cooking or working in a quiet kitchen! 🙂
