Attractive and fun
This is a beautiful appliance and it is fun to work with. You dial it right if you want to set a specific time, and dial it left to set a specific code. It has a child-safty lock so small children can’t open the door to pull hot food or drinks out onto them. It has a really kool retro look but feels more like it is from the future. I call it my “back from the future” microwave because every time I use it I think of a scene from one of the films from that series where they made pizza in a microwave in the future. It is not quite that furturistic, but it does have that fun feel and a retro feel at the same time. My friends and family love it and so do I. It functions well. I had no damage to mine but the one con I did have was the difficulty removing the plastic film from the creases. I had a hard time with that part but not removing stars over it since that was and is a protective measure.

Things are starting to heat up
So this definitely a pretty microwave. It’s so far pretty good, though the controls take a bit.to figure out as it’s not well set up. Also it has a child lock function when in use and you need to hit stop to unlock it every time. Not sure if that can be turned off or not.

Great for parents with small children.
I bought this microwave because of the brand and the color, but it has a locking mechanism that I hate. If I had small children, it would be great, but I’m 70 years old. I don’t need it, so it’s an annoyance. It works well, and does what it’s supposed to do.

Compact, efficient, and colorful
I replaced my large microwave when the coating began chipping off. I decided I would use the in wall space as a place for small appliances instead. This RCA microwave fit perfectly into a small counter space between the pantry and the stove. I love it because I only use it for heating up things, and it doesn’t interfere with my larger prep spaces. It’s cute, a beautiful red in my gray kitchen, and it does what I expect it to do. It’s perfect.

This product is defective
March 25th 2025 I received this item . I paid $100 US to have it shipped and clear to the island of Antigua. Now I can’t be refunded since it would cost double the cost to return. Brought it home read the instructions and proceeded to make a cup of Mac and cheese . To my dismay such horrible sound came from it, even worst when it’s comes to an end. It was a waste of money. Had one before but it worked fine that why I ordered this. I need this matter addressed asap. I reached out to customer service but that’s wasn’t much help.

So far so good, works great. Love the colour. As some of the reviews stated before we purchased this item, the plastic protective covering is difficult to remove from the seams.

I love this little microwave. It’s not a powerful and a teeny bit noisier than my old one, but so far it still works great and the noise does not bother me at all!! I only gave 4 stars due to the plastic wrap on the unit. Like other reviewers have said, it gets stuck around the clock housing and in the seams that connect the outer shell casing to the unit itself, but with a little patience, some tweezers and a sharp edge I was able to eventually remove it all without scratching the finish. I have only had this microwave for a few weeks, but I would buy again and am very pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend.
