Highly Disappointed
After downsizing to a one room efficiency apartment, most of my kitchen appliances were simply too big to fit in the two drawers and one cabinet I had for storage, and counter space was only about 15% of a normal kitchen. So I had to downsize everything.This was the third blender I bought on Amazon. The first one was too small because the advertised 16oz was the overall size of the mug and the maximum fill line yielded maybe 12oz.I bought a different, well rated brand 20oz, and could actually get a 16oz smoothie from it without spending big bucks. Worked OK a couple of weeks and one fine morning it just quit. I think the Chinese miscalculated, because it died within the return window by a week.This third one cost twice as much but came with two travel mugs, not that I needed it. The German name led me to believe I might actually get a quality product, even if it did cost a bit more. But nowhere on it could I find the required, “Made In …”It was far more powerful and chopped through frozen fruit with ease.Perfect, I thought, even if the Chinese had been able to fool me with the name.Then, after a couple of weeks, the safety interlock wouldn’t allow it to run unless the blade cap was made unusually tight onto the mug. I have no idea why, but that was the only way I could get it to run, and found no way to contact the seller. It kept getting worse until I had to get it so tight I had a really hard time getting it open after I made my otherwise perfect smoothie.But I liked the smoothie results enough I decided to get a strap wrench from Amazon normally used to get the caps off food jars. But before I ordered one, I noticed the seal around the blade cap shaft had begun leaking fluid down into the motor base. I knew rotten yogurt smell was soon to come unless I cleaned out the mess, which I was willing to do because I feared having to take my chances on yet a fourth blender.The construction of the motor base is such that it is really difficult to clean out the mess, which got worse over time, and I wasn’t sure whether the mug tightening problem would continue to get worse, as well.Amazon, three strikes and you’re out!Back to my clunky Cuisinart.

It does the trick! It’s just as good as the pricey ones. Easy to clean, it’s not quiet, but it’s not extremely loud.

Great blender smoothie maker!
Works awesome unfortunately its to narrow to fit my hand into to clean properly and the included brush isnt great for cleaning the grooves along the side and bottom! Otherwise its been great and works well!!!

Does lock down well, wphave to put pressure on it to make it work. Extremely unhappy with purchase. Reached out to company right away. They want you to take video and submit it to them. Such a pain! Don’t buy! Wouldn’t purchase again.Additional Information. After I sent the video, they issued a refund.
