This is a large microwave oven..A lot bigger and more powerful than the one I had before…This one cooks things about thirty percent faster.

Only flaw is no mute option
I really like the design and work flawlessly. However you cannot mute the beep sound. I’ve contacted GE directly and there seems to be no work around. I don’t know why such a simple and need to have option is not included.Microwave working sound is little loud on start up, but it gets quiet in second. Fan stays on for like 10 second after cooking. Door shuts very loud, but you can press hold the button and close the door to reduce the sound.

Poor light on product.
The only objection for this product is the wattage of the internal light as well as external panel light is too low. During the day the external panel light cannot be read.

Arrived as promised, well packaged, works perfectly. Quality finishes and easy to clean when something splatters. Buttons are easy to understand so it is easy to use and requires no instructions for guests to use it! Very pleased with product.

DANGEROUS – SELF STARTS
I had this microwave for 27 days and then the problem started. It starts and runs all by itself. That has to be a HUGE danger issue. Any time the door is closed it starts. None of the buttons will do anything. You can’t stop it. The only thing you can do is leave the door open or unplug it. After dozens of door closes etc it started working normally again…for three days. And then it started up again by itself. I have not been able to stop it.As I was still (barely) in the return window I sent it back and replaced it with another of the same model. This one seems to function alright so far. However… there are four feet on the bottom of the microwave. One of them is almost 1/4 inch shorter than the rest. As a result the microwave rocks back and forth every time you touch it or open the door. The QC on this product just seems to really be lacking. And that’s a bit of a surprise for a GE product but I guess they’re gotten as bad as all the rest.
