Compact with big Impact

I picked up this mini PC to replace my aging home computer.I typically use my home computer for browsing, office related tasks (Microsoft 365), running virtual machines, software development, video streaming, etc. It’s performed all of these tasks quickly and smoothly. I’m not into gaming, so I don’t have a need for a high-powered GPU and the Intel Arc graphics card has worked well.After a few days of usage, here’s what I’ve noticed.Pros:* Extremely fast, even when I run VMs (each with 8GB memory and multiple cores)* Quiet, even when the fan is running (when compared against my HP Z820)* Runs Fedora Linux 41 on bare metal* Successfully upgraded to 64GB using Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM 5600MHz (search for CT2K32G56C46S5)* Support team is responsive to emails within a 48 hour periodCons:* Limits on the secondary internal SSD. It comes with a 2 TB 2280 NVMe SSD which is excellent. There’s also a port for an internal secondary SSD, but it only supports M.2 2242 SATA SSD (they keyword here is SATA and not NVMe). Most of the reliable name brand SSD vendors do not produce M.2 2242 SATA SSDs any longer. However, if you’re willing to go the external SSD routes, you can hook up anything you want to the fast USB 4.0 ports included.I really appreciate the high performance (specifically the Intel U9-185H processor + 32 GB RAM + 2 TB SSD) and small form factor of this mini PC. It can be successfully upgraded to 64 GB of RAM. If you want to extend drive capacity and get maximum performance, you’ll need to use an external SSD with the USB 4.0 ports.

Hardware rock solid, and a screamer. Windows 11 image was flaky at the start.
I am giving this PC five -stars, against my better judgement. It’s five despite the W11 image being flaky from the onset of initialization. After the third attempt, followed by multiple updates, all went well. The hardware continues to amaze me. Extremely fast, plenty of configuration ports, and dual LAN that I am using for 2.5 Gb file transfer to my server, as well as data redundancy. Despite it’s small size, from photo editing to other intensive gaming and illustration demands, this PC CPU & innards barely breaks a sweat and remains extremely cool. The fan (for the few times it turned on) is extremely quite and efficient. A definite recommended buy.

Absolutely fantastic little machine. I find it quiet even under load. I tried it out with Topaz AI for post processing photos and found it extremely fast!

Really noisy PC (sometimes)!
Just get the product for some hours and my first impression is this PC is very noisy (and I’m not in the “Performance” mode yet), just installing some software (no intensive software is running at all)…Update: I’m using 2 monitors (4K with USB-C and FHD with HDMI). Often, after some hours of working, the 4K monitor is just going OFF suddenly, I have to restart the computer to get my 2 monitors working correctly together. The problem might come from my monitor (overheating, for example), but why it’s working some seconds later, after restarting the computer?Over all, it’s a very good device, I’m happy with it, but some small problems preventing me to give it 5 stars…

A small PC packing a big punch. Great performance in a small format package. Very good graphics performance. Lots of useful interfaces. Yes, it’s not cheap, but very much worth it in my opinion.

Sooo nice
This PC is a game changer for me. It is so fast, and so quiet. It’s frictionless to use. I can run heavy tasks in the background and still get things done with barely any lag in the UI. I was on a Intel i7 laptop, and this is more than 2x faster. A task that was going to take 14 days on my old laptop took 6 days on the Geekom GT1 Mega. I don’t use Windows, so the activated Windows 11 Pro was useless to me. I installed Linux Mint 22. The upstream version from Mint is Ubuntu, and Ubuntu recently replaced its sound server with Pipewire. If you go with an Ubuntu flavor with this modern hardware, you might need to wait a bit for a kernel and sof firmware update to get sound. Other than that OS audio bug, it’s been a wonderful transition to this PC.

Dejó de funcionar a los 22 días. Contacté al vendedor y me indicó que la desarmara y revisara por dentro, pero no me dieron instrucciones de como desarmarla (no tiene tornillos visibles). Además, en la página del vendedor se indica que si se manipula se pierda la garantía, no recibí más apoyo. He hecho la devolución del producto y comprado otra marca y estilo.

Allego alcune foto e un breve video per mostrarvi da vicino questo GEEKOM Mini IT13 – è davvero una piccola meraviglia!Appena estratto dalla scatola, colpisce per compattezza ed eleganza: il design è curato, solido e perfetto anche per una scrivania ordinata in ufficio o a casa. Nonostante le dimensioni ridotte, è ricchissimo di porte: USB4, HDMI, Ethernet, jack audio e altro ancora. Lo sto usando con due monitor 4K e nessun problema di prestazioni o compatibilità: tutto fluido!Un grandissimo vantaggio: Windows 11 Pro è già precaricato, quindi all’accensione è bastato seguire la configurazione iniziale e in pochi minuti era tutto operativo. L’installazione è semplicissima, anche per chi non è esperto.Per quanto riguarda le prestazioni… impressionante! L’Intel i9-13900H e i 32 GB di RAM si fanno sentire: posso lavorare con più applicazioni contemporaneamente (programmi di grafica, analisi dati, browser con tante schede aperte, Office…) e il tutto senza rallentamenti. Anche il disco SSD da 2TB è velocissimo: file copiati e incollati in un lampo.Ottima anche la connessione Wi-Fi 6E, super stabile e veloce nei trasferimenti anche con file pesanti. Questo mini PC è davvero adatto sia per uso personale che professionale: in ufficio è perfetto anche con software più pesanti.🔊 Unico piccolo neo: quando il processore è molto sotto stress (per esempio con rendering o calcoli impegnativi), la ventola si fa sentire. Non è un rumore fastidioso, ma certo non è completamente silenzioso in quei momenti.In sintesi: un acquisto che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca prestazioni elevate in un formato compatto. La Geekom GT1 se ha convertido en mi computadora principal.Llevo ya cerca de 2 semanas con ella y la tengo trabajando entre 10 y 12 hrs diarias. El procesador y la ram (en mi caso 32gb y Ultra 9 H185) hacen gran trabajo para mantener múltiples programas abiertos, navegador a tope con pestañas abiertas y programas de edición de video básicos como Filmora (no soy editor profesional, pero a veces requiero de hacer algunos tutoriales para mi equipo de trabajo así que es la herramienta que ocupo por facilidad de uso.Estoy comenzando a experimentar con algunos modelos pequeños de AI en local y hasta ahora funciona perfecto, con buena fluidez y con buena fiabilidad en mis pruebas preliminares.Así mismo la he probado con algunos juegos, ya que soy jugador ocasional, y Age of Empires IV lo corre bien en alta definición, Halo Wars 2 en full hd a 60fps, sin problema y forza motor sport (la última edición) en full hd a 60fps sin problema y sin pérdida.Y bueno, demás está decir que por el tamaño que es minúsculo ayuda a mantener el espacio de trabajo despejado y bastante agradable.Por el precio es fenomenal contar con un equipo así. Altamente recomendado.

Pues lo compré por un video que vi en youtube de un experto en redes que lo recomendeba “Naseros” y la verdad es que he quedado muy satisfecha. La potencia es abismal, en un cacharrito tan pequeño, se enciende en poco más de 2 segundos, no se calienta nada, tiene muy buena refrigeración y trae bastante memoria Ram y de almacenamiento. Lo llevo usando unos 8 meses y estoy encantada. Los programas corren a una velocidad increíble. En fin lo recomiendo encarecidamente.
