Good, straightforward machine. Instruction book needs work. Take out the plug!
OK the coffee is fine. It is easy to use once you know what you’re doing. Nice to have a water reservoir so that one doesn’t have to put water in one cup at a time. I bought some extra pods – the standard ones fit nicely. My only complaints have to do with the instructions which are minimal at best. There is nothing in the book that tells you that there is a plug under the water reservoir that needs to be replaced before you should use it. There is a tiny sign on the back of the reservoir that tells you that, but I did not see it for some time and got quite frustrated that it did not work properly. I was beginning to think about returning it -that perhaps it was broken. But I finally did find it and it worked fine. I followed the instructions for making the first cup of coffee – dumb me – which called for 2 tsp of coffee in the pod. Never having used a pod before- I thought the company knew better than I. Well needless to say, the book should have read 2 Tbs of coffee. 2 Tablespoons works fine, makes a nice cup of coffee. I looks nice, makes good coffee, is uncomplicated with not a lot of options. But I like the ability to use pods and also ground coffee, to make up the pods in advance, and not have to add water each time. A decent machine – the instruction book needs work.

Great for hot coffee
We bought this coffee maker for the camper we use pods in it, been using it about a week. It brews fast and hot, excellent for hot coffee. not so great for iced, I think the iced button is just for show, it doesn’t brew stronger or at a lower temp like the ninja we have at home so you end up with very watery iced coffee with most of the ice melted. I’m going to try it on “strength” into ice to see if that’s better.

brewing volume fault
Beware, a chance of faulty brewing volumes. My particular purchase worked well for a short period of time, then began intermittently overfilling. When set for 12 ozs it would continue brewing up to and over 16, at times overflowing onto the spill tray and kitchen cabinet. To their credit, the manufacturer did respond but demanded a video so they could properly assess the issue and allow their technicians to observe the machine’s behavior. I provided the stills below, but they repeated their demands for a video, but since I don’t have the time to video every brewing hoping for the fault to occur, I’m writing this off as a pour unfortunate choice. I’d avoid this product.
