Another AMAZING Govee product!!
Fantastic LED lights! I have many Govee home products and they are all amazing! These are very bright, app is easy and fun to use with many preset themes, customazation and a timer for automated on/off. Setup was a breeze! With two people this took 3hrs. The adhesive was just ok but there were plenty of clips for permanent installation. No more hanging Christmas lights for me!! 10/10 would purchase again and recommend!

Simply the best
I do a lot of custom outdoor signs and lighting and I will only use govi products on those and around my own housing camp I’ve learned to just go with the best and not settle. You’ll end up spending more money, but the lights are great. Waterproof I’ve had a set for over 3 years now. Outdoors no issues. Great that it connects to Wi-Fi so you can manage them from wherever a ton of modes without even delving into custom ones I would highly recommend this and any any of govees other exceptional products

Great lights but app isn’t user friendly.
Love the lights and all the built in patterns it does. The power cord was torn out of the connection after a couple months so I contacted Govee and they replaced the lights (one year warranty). Great customer service! I ended up using clear clips from Amazon to attach it to the flashing under the gutter instead of using the double stick tape that comes on the back. It might work well on these lights but I didn’t want to take a chance since I’ve been burned by double stick tape from other lights in the past. The clips are clear and worked perfectly.I like I can have certain sections on and the rest off. I can light the front door alone when I’m not having the whole house lit up during holidays.I only gave it four stars since the app is not user friendly and hard to figure out.

Give lights are amazing. The sticky holds and the lights are perfectly spaced to make your house look wonderful! Imitations aren’t worth it. I hope the hold up, but with their reputation I believe they will ..and better than the knockoffs.

Great Lights, some installation cautions
Let me start by saying I’m happy with the lights and they look great. Easy to control via the app or your smart speaker. My concern from the beginning was would the adhesive hold up when outdoors in the Florida heat. It didn’t. The strips started peeling in places after a few days on the wall. In all fairness, the wall I was installing on was a painted fascia board. It was rough and I did my best to sand it down before installing the strips. But it was not a perfectly flat surface. Govee provides channel clips every 27 inches and they certainly take some of the stress off of the adhesive, but in the end it was not enough. All was not lost however. I had the foresight to purchase additional clips “Griver 100 Pack Strip Light Mounting Brackets. Between the provided channel clips, the Griver clips and some well placed clear caulk, I think I have a solid, long lasting installation. One thing I was disappointed in was that unlike other Govee light strips, this one can’t be cut to a different length. I guess this has something to do with the waterproofing, but it required me to loop the strip around and double it up near the end of my light string.

I wanted lights that I could leave mounted under my eaves year round. I found these quite easy to install but not having great faith in the 3M tape to hold them in place, decided to use permanent clips. The lights includes some clips but not enough to properly hold the lights so I searched Amazon, tried some that didn’t fit despite claiming that they would. Well I found some that do work – almost identical the the ones that came with the lights. They are MECCANIXITY Waterproof LED Strip Mounting Clips Holder Mounting Bracket Support Fixing Clamps Fit 12mm to 14mm Silicone LED Strip Lighting Translucent Pack of 120 for $CDN 20.49 though I am going to buy #6 screws to replace the #4 screws that come with the clips. I took a bit of learning but in the end the lights were fairly simple to program. They are very bright, seem durable, and give very good colour.
