With the Hamilton Beach Bowl Scraper Food Processor, there’s no need to stop and remove the lid to dislodge food from the side of the bowl. The built-in scraper does the work for you, even while the processor is on for continuous processing. Kitchen tips: For a more uniform consistency, start with pieces of food that are similar in size. Cut food into 1-inch (2.5-cm) pieces before processing with the chopping/mixing blade and leave room in the bowl for the food to be tossed around. When chopping foods, pulsing on and off will produce the best results. Operating time will depend on the quantity of food being processed. Most foods can be sliced, chopped, or shredded in seconds. To slice or shred cheese, use firm cheeses like Cheddar or Swiss that have been chilled for at least 30 minutes. Soft cheese like Mozzarella must be placed in the freezer for 30 minutes prior to processing to ensure it is firm enough for shredding. All removable parts are top rack dishwasher safe.
BUILT-IN BOWL SCRAPER SAVES TIME: Quickly process ingredients without stopping to use a spatula. Simply move the scraper from side-to-side to scrape the bowl while the food processor is running or the power is off — no need to remove the lid.
SLICE, SHRED, CHOP, MIX AND PUREE WITH 2 VERSATILE ATTACHMENTS : The Hamilton Beach food processor gives you 5 processing functions and includes a stainless steel slicing/shredding disc and chopping/pureeing blade so you can tackle every job with ease.
POWERFUL 450 WATT MOTOR: Make healthy salads, homemade salsa, hearty acai bowls and more. The 450 watt motor easily powers through the toughest ingredients, so you can spend less time processing and more time enjoying.
PRECISE CONTROL WITH 2 SPEEDS PLUS PULSE: The low and high speeds plus pulse give you the control you need for a variety of recipes. Use the high speed when you need more power and select the low speed for processing or mixing delicate foods.
10 CUP BOWL CAPACITY: The generous 10 cup bowl fits large volumes of food all at once. The large feed chute saves you time by reducing the need to pre-cut food before processing or using as a vegetable chopper.
EASY TO CLEAN: All removable parts are dishwasher safe for effortless cleanup and all food zones are BPA-free for peace of mind
1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: Built for long-lasting performance and backed by a 1 year limited warranty from Hamilton Beach.
SUCTION CUP FEET: Prevent sliding for greater stability on the countertop
WHAT’S INCLUDED: 450 watt processor base, 10 cup bowl, lid with large feed chute, food pusher with drizzle holes for emulsifications, built-in bowl scraper, reversible slicing/shredding disc, chopping/pureeing blade, user guide

Energizer Bunny, You’ve Got Some Serious Competition!
I have a two-star review on the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth 14-Cup Food Processor (currently unavailable) from 2014—which I promised to update and never did. So, here is my update, LOL.This is what I purchased after sending back the above-mentioned product. Let me just say right off that this thing feels flimsy and cheap. Set it on the 1 or 2 auto level and you’re almost afraid to walk away—just sure that it’s going to violently dislodge and fire random vegetables all over the kitchen with a blade flying in the air somewhere. But, man, has it been a workhorse for 11 YEARS! I just bought a new (white) one, only because I misplaced the main chopping blade and can’t find it for love or money. (Facepalm. Don’t ask. I don’t know, either.) I’ve kept my black one as a backup. I have not had the first issue in 11 years, it sticks like glue to the countertop, and it doesn’t move a bit. Does a great job at slicing, grating, and processing!Unless you happen to get a dud unit, you can’t go wrong with this one. It’s worth every penny. For what it’s worth, I typically use mine several times a month.

Love the Bowl Scraper
The bowl scraper is a function that is hard to find in a lower-priced food processor. I like it because it definitely helps achieve more uniformity in chopping and processing, as it directs what is pushed to the outside, back towards the blade. Liquids aren’t an issue due to the vortex (tornado- like motion) formed by the blade, but solids would otherwise remain on the outer edge of the bowl. The 450-Watt motor seems to provide plenty of power for most uses. More expensive processors may have a larger motor and that may lead to a longer life for those units. A processor at this one’s price range can’t be expected to last ten years if used often, but for non-prifessionals it should be fine. The versatility of chopping, slicing, shredding and pureeing is a plus. An ordinary blender just can’t compete. I also like that it has two speeds and a pulse capability. After a bit of searching, I settled on this processor for the combination of affordability, function, good reviews, name brand, and the bowl scraper.

Good investment
I bought this hamilton beach food processor for daily use in kitchen, its a versatile product which I can use for chopping wide range of vegetables from tough one like onions, potatoes ,carrots to softer one like tomatoes overall the output wattage of this machine is good.I like the one blade do all concept ,i have used many other food processors in the past which came with different blades for chopping and different set of blades for making dough ,but it was a hassle to store all the blades ,this one feature is really good.I made paav bhaji for which i have to chop variety of vegetables and which takes a very long time doing manually,i was able to do it in under 5 mins using this machine. It very good for dough making the side scrapper is a very unique feature which reduces wastes and afterwards cleaning efforts.I tried to churn buttermilk to make butter which also turned out wellOver all do as it promised, good productOnly downside of this is when you are using the shredding blade you don’t have the choice to adjust thickness of the shredding or slices

Worth it. Buy it.
I’ve meal prepped for a few years now. It wasn’t until a couple of months ago that I got this, and it changed everything for me.This food processor saves me hours of prep time each week. It’s easy to use, and the included attachments are exactly what I need to make massive batch meals.Caution to new users: The slicer blade is sharp. Scary sharp. So sharp that you won’t even realize it’s fully imbedded in your finger tips until it’s too late. Do not pick up the slicer blade in ANY way that your fingers could possibly slip and make contact with the cutting surface. The chopper blade makes very short work of cubed meats and vegetables. It’s not very sharp, but I don’t really think it needs to be.The scraper is my favorite attachment. Prior to using it, I assumed it was a gimmick. It’s the real deal. That thing scrapes the sides of the bowl so you don’t have to stop the processor and do it yourself. It’s a higher capacity food processor, so you can make big batch meals with ease. If you’re on the fence about what size to get, always go a size bigger. You don’t have to fill the container all the way up if you’re making something small, but it’s really hard to split a large batch up into smaller ones.It purées and blends really well, so the flavors mix perfectly. The build quality is excellent. It’s worth the purchase. The ONLY negative I could think of is that this thing is SUPER loud.

Food processor
This is the best food processor I have ever bought. Works exactly as it should and the build quality is perfect. Has different speeds and is so easy to use. It’s easy to store and shreds up anything I throw into it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for one. Can’t beat the price point either.

excellent reasonably priced food processor works great for peanut butter
I have never owned a food processor, I just wanted to make my own zero salt zero sugar zero crap added high-quality peanut butter from peanuts only it’s hard to find this kind of peanut butter and it’s two or three times more expensive than all the garbage peanut butter out there. I was attracted to this particular product because of the little hand wheel that scrapes the side of the bowl I felt this would help with making peanut butter and it does. I have made several batches of excellent peanut butter with this food processor. It works great for that. I also made some homemade salsa that was easy to make and tastes better than anything I’ve even had at a nice Mexican restaurant. The price of this food processor was also very reasonable.

Here is the lowdown, the blender worked perfectly for three weeks without any issues. Although each time i went for a bowl of hummus or guacamole i would smell the burning of wires. I was told this is common off Hamilton products! After three weeks the kitchen reeked of burnt and suddenly just stopped working. I contacted the seller who said that less than 6 months and the product is out of warranty. So i took the piece to a local electrician who said the wires burned off. After repairing it, again the kitchen started reeking and the piece went silent on me. I took it again to the electrician who said another part went bad and handed it back too me. I spun it 1 more time and boom it went silent on me.

Easy to use. Lightweight , and sticks to the counter.Does all that is advertised very well. In the last six months I have bought a second hb oven after my first one gave up after twelve long years of use. I also bought a mixer. Love it. And now the chopper, which I love. Company should maybe give rebates or some other compensation to induce frequent buyers. Would highly recommend!
