The Hamilton Beach programmable easy access coffee maker puts an end to maneuvering of a countertop coffee maker. You can fill the water tank from the front, instead of the back. This coffee maker takes up less space but still makes up to 12 cups.
EASILY FILL FROM THE FRONT. The FrontFill water reservoir and swing-open brew basket provide easy access under cabinets, so it’s simpler to add water and coffee grounds. The swing-out brew basket opens from the front and is designed for easy cleaning.
PROGRAMMABLE WITH CLEANING CYCLE REMINDERS: It’s simple to program the drip coffee maker machine and clock. Set up to 24 hours ahead for hot, wake-up ready coffee. When “CLEAN” displays on the coffee maker, it’s time to run the self-cleaning cycle.
GET YOUR FIRST CUP FAST: With Auto Pause & Pour on this programmable coffee maker, you can pour yourself a cup while coffee is still brewing.
COFFEE YOUR WAY: Use the Select-a-Brew brew-strength selector on the programmable coffee maker to set your coffee’s brew strength to match your preference or mood. Choose regular, bold or 1-4 cup options.
EASY-VIEW WATER WINDOW: The window with clear measurement marks lets you see the water level as you fill the coffee machine.
Customers say
Customers find the coffee maker makes great coffee, is simple to use with intuitive controls, and appreciate its front water fill access feature. The design receives positive feedback for its looks, and customers consider it good value for money. The functionality and build quality show mixed results – while some say it works beautifully and hasn’t broken after extensive use, others report it stops working and isn’t well-made. Customers disagree on the leakage issue, with some reporting no dripping while others experience severe water leakage.

A Bit of a Retro Look
This coffee maker is a great choice for coffee lovers seeking convenience and affordability. It’s sleek and functional, and looks great on the counter, a bit retro. One of its best features is the programmable timer, which allows you to set the brew time up to 24 hours in advance. Waking up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee feels like a luxury! I can smell the fresh brew upstairs. The coffee maker also boasts a “pause and serve” function, enabling users to pour a quick cup mid-brew without any spills—perfect for those busy mornings. With a 12-cup capacity, it’s ideal for households with multiple coffee drinkers or for hosting guests. The machine also has an automatic shutoff, providing peace of mind for those who might forget to turn it off. I like that feature. And it has a reminder to let you know when to run the cleaning cycle.

You already know if you need this or not
This is a standard, good, dependable coffee maker. Gets all the basics right. Doesn’t make a mess when you pour from the carafe (sad that some coffee makers can’t get this right). Programmable. All good.So why is this twice as expensive as a standard coffee maker? It fits under lower cabinets. That’s it. If you don’t have room to to flip up the top of a coffeemaker to add water and coffee, then this product is for you. Simple as that. This solves a problem for me, and likely many others.

OK coffee maker but could use some improvements.
I had a quite old Mr. Coffee coffee maker with a square reusable basket that gave me many years of good service. It brewed very good coffee. The square basket, due to being used only serveral thousand times, was wore out and tore at one of the seams. I went to find a new basket for it and they are nowhere to be found. Bummer as that is a really good design. Yes, it is odd, but it brews really well.Anyway I did some research and decided on this coffee maker. The first one I received had something rattling around inside and I didn’t want to take a chance and power it up only to find it was a loose screw that shorts out inside and burns down my house. It was quickly replaced with no hassle other than having to take the old one to a drop off point. It works well, but, and has a couple features I like. I like the top lid fill. It is designed well and when filling it doesn’t splatter water all over. Whoever designed it figured out the right curves for water to pour and drain into the maker. The brim on the pot is plastic. I like this as I have a tendency to be clumsy and smack the spout on something breaking it off; however, this is a double edge sword. The plastic brim doesn’t allow all the liquid to be poured out easily. It wastes a good couple teaspoons of coffee each time. The only way I know how to get those last two teaspoons is to shake the bejesus out of the coffee pot, but that would result in maybe one drop making into the cup and the rest spattered all over the counter. It also wants cleaning all the time. My water is very soft and doesn’t build up like most other areas, but the maker only seams to track pots brewed, and not the actual build up in the machine. I am OK with that, but the fix to reset it is to unplug the maker, let it sit about ten minutes and plug it back in. Sounds easy, but then I got to reprogram the clock and make sure to set the maker on “BOLD” as that is the only way to make coffee. It really needs a reset button.Last thing I don’t like is the water level is on the left side. The place I have my coffee maker is in an area where the left side is obfuscated. I am not going to change that as it would require a complete redesign of cooking area to include my microwave and other stuff I have near the coffee pot. Would really be nice to have levels on both sides.I have been using it several months and it brews good coffee. I wish somebody would come back with the square basket. That worked so well and brewed really good coffee. 🙁

Lasted a long time, going to buy the same one to replace it
I bought this in 2018, and have probably used it to on average make 2 pots a day since then, so probably over 5000 pots of coffee. It just died this morning after cleaning it three times with vinegar (which I have done about every 2 months over the last years with no issue). I can only assume some steam ended up messing up the electronics – it still turns on but lights are low and it won’t brew anymore. But before dying it worked great. Made good coffee. Was easy to access under a shelf with the front fill. Only complaint I have is that I wish it had a programmable timer on how long it would stay warm (it is hard set to 2 hours before it turns off). I looked at other options, but for our setup this works great and I am going to buy it again to replace the one that just died. Overall really liked the product.
