    GREAT quality, fast printing, user-friendly!
I LOVE this printer! Besides the scanning capabilities (which many printers have nowadays, but very nice on this one, nonetheless), it has been a great 4 months! I find it to be fast, quiet, VERY user-friendly, easy to set up and wonderful quality! My previous HP printer had been printing weird blank lines through the text/pictures for some time. It also wouldn’t align my images when I used cardstock…very curious. This one has been perfect! I use the HP Instant Ink program, and as a 2nd Grade teacher, I print a lot, so I use the 300 pages/month plan. Save for one faulty ink tank (quickly rectified), every experience has been great and the printer produces high quality, fast images. Highly recommend!

This printer puts out good quality printing
I really like the HP brand and this printer doesn’t disappoint. It was fairly easy to set up. It’s easy to use and the quality of the printed pages is very good. The price was right too.

    Neat printer
I purchased this printer because I needed a replacement for my hp deskjet 3050 which has served me faithfully for almost a decade. This Hp Envy 6555e looks pretty neat, got it for $100 which I think is a good price.Upon setup the touchscreen display had a slight delay (haven’t noticed it since), the sensitivity to touch is good. The HP application is easy to use, and I have no problems connecting the printer to WiFi and using HP print or AirPrint. It seems quite sturdy and well-made.It works with HP 68 ink. I have no interest in the Instant Ink Subscription programme and I haven’t had any nagging prompts to join the programme as others have mentioned. The Print quality is good.My only negative observation so far is that in comparison to my old printer, the print speed is a bit slow. Otherwise, I’m quite satisfied with my purchase.

While your buying this printer also buy a bottle of Tylenol
After owning this printer 3 months I’m already looking for a different brand or same brand different model.First, the ink is very expensive much more than I’ve paid for other hp printers. Hint: when choosing a printer check the price of ink and if there are 3rd party refill ink cartridges that are reliable. And give the ink price a part of deciding.Ink for this runs about $90 average for even generic brands and there are not many available. Yes hp sells a black cartridge for $23 bucks. It says 160 pages but more like 80. So it will require at least 2 in a month or 5 weeks. So with tax about $200 a year or more. The printer is very moody and very loud. When it starts printing it makes a loud bang sound. The printing is quite noisy.Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. It typically doesn’t work when I need it. It seems to get stuck with processing a print job. So you unplug it and often too unplug you’re computer or device. Plug them back in restart and 50/50 chance it will clear. Most of often have to download the apps to diagnose then fix the issue. Close your eyes and visualize doing this once or twice a day when you have to get documents printed quickly.Idk I paid $99 bucks but I’m willing to throw it out or donate. It’s a shame. Now when it works irs very good and prints fast. If you’re a casual user and don’t mind constantly troubleshooting then it’s for you.

    Great printer!
Great printer for household use. Setup is easy; anyone can do it. I’ve test-printed and scanned multiple documents and can confirm both were successful.Likes: Wide printer, sturdy, colored touch screen panel, printer controls on phone via HP app, printing/scanning from my phone directly to the device, scanning a PDF or image to my email, document feeder, and paper tray that holds a decent chunk of paper.Dislike Not being able to set the scanner to automatically scan double-sided. You have to manually scan each side with this device. Not a huge deal, unless you’re a business or just a frequent scanner.

    Very satisfied
I’ve had none of the problems with this printer that some others have had. I found it easy to set up and use. Yes, the ink is exorbitantly expensive, but if you’re like me and usually don’t print more than 50 to 70 pages a month, the cost can be reduced by enrolling in the lowest tier of HP’s Instant Ink program. I’m very satisfied.

  7. Let’s Go Bucs!!!

    Be aware….This printer can’t handle 5G.
We had our computer tech installed this for us and it worked OK but would go off-line. So we have Verizon tech come and make sure all those connections were fine. Yet another visit from our computer tech (for another $95 I might add! And the printer continues to go off-line. You have to turn it off and then on to get it to print anything. After the two visits from our computer tech and VERY lengthy communication with Verizon and HP, it’s been determined that this printer cannot handle 5G. Once that is corrected, the printer works fine.

    Good purchase!!
Very happy with purchase. My husband set it up and I didn’t hear much complaining! Works great from my cell phone. I don’t print a lot so I’m sure this will last us a very long time.

I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but this printer was a breeze to set up. The instructions were clear, and it connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues. I had it up and running in less than 10 minutes!

The set up was easy. The printer is slow, which is fine for me, but may not work for someone who needs to print quickly.

Bought this printer a month ago based on ratings. Worst printer ever. Longest to print a sheet from PC now at 17 hrs, 12 minutes. Doesn’t like or will connect to assigned router when 2 routers are present with different names, same password. Their solution… change password… Yea right, and change a dozen devices all working perfectly from each router.Ethernet direct connected still wants WI-FI connection., Now waiting 1 hr and counting for 1 page to print. Chews up ink like no other machine. Loved my 3830. worked flawlessly for years till it didn’t.

Have had this printer for a few days. Works well,easy-to-use. Love that HP has steered away from Styrofoam packing.
