Fast, inexpensive, WiFi and Bluetooth enabled B&W laser printer does the job
My wife uses her iPhone and iPad almost exclusively is always asking me to print stuff for her. My trusty old HP Color Laser Jet CP2025 has all the bells and whistles except it’s not WiFi enabled and has no bluetooth, so my wife cannot print directly from her iPhone. I was looking for a very inexpensive inkjet or equivalent when I found the HP LaserJet M209dw Wireless Printer. It is plenty fast, prints full-sized 8 1/2″ x 11″ page, has usual laser printer high resolution and is fully WiFi enabled so it’s easy to get it to join your home LAN and will print from any wireless device or your desktop. All this for $150. Nota bene: this is a monchrome printer. To get the same feature in a color laser costs about 3 x as much, and one set of cartridges will run you 3 or 4 times as much as this entire printer.Very satisfied. If you want WiFi wireless and bluetooth connectivity in a very inexpensive printer, this HP is perfect. Highly Recommended.JM TEPPER

It was worth the investment. App interface could be a lot better though.
So far this printer has been working out very well, and I’ve been working it! I needed a fast printer with a higher print capacity because I print a lot of worksheets on the fly. Not only is it fast, but very convenient because I can’t leave my classroom to go to the copier where I print everything. It was worth the investment. The only trouble I had was using the app to navigate the wireless, etc. I felt like I was going in circles. This was all solved when I used the printer’s direct wireless connection. It was perfect and didn’t require much to access it from my laptop after following the directions.

Good Thing I Had A Router with Plenty of Ports
Shame I could not print via USB (Desk computer) simultaneously with Wireless printing (kitchen computer) [OR AT LEAST, not that HP indicated was possible while at the setup screen], but connecting the device via Method #3: Ethernet was super simple and speedy. I think it’s just fine as a printing device and worth buying.

Best monochrome laser printer for the price!
Best monochrome laser printer for the price! Top notch speed, print quality, ease of setup and use (MacOS, iPadOS, iOS)! Perfect for home and/or small business use, and you can sometimes get this on sale for about a third off (be patient). My previous HP laser printer lasted more than 15 years, and I only traded up to this because I needed double-sided printing.

Please save yourself some heartache and stay away from HP printers.
I bought this printer for home use, primarily for our son’s homeworks, activity sheets, etc – which goes to say that we did not use it everyday and when we did, we probably printed 2 or 3 sheets. I threw the printer in trash after using it for 13 months because of HP’s evil business plan. I am judging this wireless printer on these aspects – print quality, software, wireless and printing cost. This printing aspect of the printer is OK. It does as well as any laserjet printer would do. For what I used this printer, I wasn’t looking for business quality print anyway. The wireless aspect is terrible. The printer will not want to connect to wifi and when it does, you will find it offline everytime you want to print something. Which means that you will have to walk to the printer to wake it up, wait for that to happen, then print. For the software, the app that HP will make you install is for 1 purpose only. To push you to purchase more cartridges, paper, etc from HP. This app was not designed to enhance the printing experience in anyway. In addition, HP will push you to create an account so that they can monitor your usage and push more products. As if this were not enough to make money, HP has an evil business model. Regardless of how much life is left in your cartridge, the firmware in the printer will refuse to print once you have printed so many sheets. IT IS ACTUALLY BASED ON THE COUNT OF THE PRINTED SHEETS. Please save yourself some heartache and stay away from HP printers. I just upgraded to Epson EcoTank (color inkjet) which gives you complete control of the ink.

My Best Purchase in Years
This printer is AMAZING. First of all, the installation was so easy. All I had to do was plug it in, type in a URL for an HP website and click “GO”. No model numbers or serial numbers to search for. No WI-FI similar codes to input. It took 5 minutes. Secondly, when I used it for the first time, it was speedy and beautifully legible. It even prints two-sided. I also ordered two toner cartridges. The description said each cartridge prints 2,000 pages. It cost me $48. The cartridges to my non-laser jet cost $18 and printed about 100 pages if I was lucky. I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER.

Great laser printer!!
This printer was a quick and easy setup and has been running like a champ! I purchased it for a specific purpose and it didn’t disappoint. I made 75 copies of a 17 page document with it for the first job and it worked perfectly! No hiccups or problems whatsoever. My regular printer is an inkjet and I had forgotten how much faster a laser printer prints lol. Both my printers and my desktop are HP and I have the smart app on my computer to monitor the ink levels but I don’t use the auto ship for ink or toner with this laser printer. I order as needed. This printer is a Bluetooth only and it has no issues staying connected but I didn’t hesitate to purchase because my HP inkjet is the same and hasn’t had an issue in the three years I’ve had it. This printer is now available on my iPhone and iPad for printing and I have been using it exclusively because I love how much faster it prints especially when I send a document with 30 pages. I live in a two story townhouse and I send the print jobs from my phone downstairs to the printer in my office upstairs. My Wi-Fi router is in my office as well so the connectivity is great!

confusing. An alternative model – M207dw, instead of M209dw, ordered, installed. Otherwise, seems to work as described. Recessed touch buttons ideal for the blind.

Simple. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Not huge by any means and prints fast and clearly. Very happy with it especially BC the wifi feature works from my phone. Just follow the recommended steps

This printer didn’t disappoint but it comes with some sneaky toner refills. You have to sign up for hp’s online printer toner replacement service they give you two months for free so you get two toners which is not bad but every so many hundred pages you have to buy another toner so I think this is kind of sneaky it’s not like the old days where you just bought a thousand page toner and use that until it was empty. These toners do 200 pages approximately and then it automatically contacts HP through their website and then send you a new one. Well I think the printer is excellent. I think this is a sneaky way to sign up for refills I took the two free months and then canceled the HP toner account and then I just ordered them manually now. If you plan to print thousands of pages you should skip this printer but if you’re like me and use it sparingly it’s really good. Four out of five stars
