Amazing just buy it
Amazing printer! Makes my life so easy! Ink ran low first month had a new ink cartridge in the mail to me for free within 2 days of it showing low

Terrible!
We bought an HP 8600 printer and it was outstanding, and performed perfectly for 20 years, but of course, they are no longer making that model. So we bought this one and it is terrible! EVERY time I want to print, it says it is not connected to the internet (when everything else in my house is.) EVERY time I want to print, I have to turn the printer off and I have to be right next to it with my device to print. It won’t print from downstairs like my other printer did. Several times when I printed multiple pages, it stopped in the middle of one page and I had to restart the printer again to get it start again and I had to start all over. Also, EVERY time I print a couple of different jobs, it does not do it well. So you need to do each job separately and check all pages because it doesn’t always finish the job. When I try to copy something, I have to turn it off and on again. I can get it to work and when it prints, it is fine, but it takes a lot of finesse. It is not at all reliable. I am retired and don’t use it much, but it would be unacceptable if I needed to use it for my job.

Good looking and functioning printer
Received overnight at sales price. A good looking printer. Setting up was smooth and easy. However, I already experienced what some customers about the printer saying “ internet not available “ while the printer is already on the network and still printing. Another glitch that I have not retry is the” firmware update incomplete. Please try later”. At least the printer still printing and not stuck at firmware update.This is a lot quieter and faster than my HP 6600 that I had for at least 10 years. So far so good.Notes: I just discovered that the fax function needs a landline or you have to signup for mobile fax feature via internet. This is not appropriate for my rare need to fax. So if you don’t need to fax often and don’t want to pay $17 -$19 a month, you may want the less expensive model for about $99 currently on sale.

Scanning app
HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e is the best option, it’s easy to set up, it works with any type of devices, it produces beautiful prints and scans, and a design looks great. It has a good scanning app.

Last HP was great, this one is terrible
My last HP printer worked for 10 years an died so I bought this one. I hate it. You have to download the HP app to all your devices if you want to do anything besides basic printing. The scan function does not work by USB to computer and only works via email, which is a real pain. It says printer not recognized for scan even when it is connected and prints fine. Ink does not last long and the set up locks you in to only buying HP brand ink, it won’t recognize other cartridges. It stops recognizing its own HP cartridges randomly too. This thing sucks, total waste of money. As soon as I run out of this 2nd set of ink I am throwing it away and cutting my losses and frustrations. I am tech savvy, and have used plenty of printers.
