Customers say
Customers find the printer offers good value for money and appreciate its portability, being able to take it anywhere. The device is easy to set up and print photos from phones in seconds, with one customer noting the app has lots of cute backgrounds and borders. However, the print quality and color accuracy receive mixed feedback – while some say the images come out clearer, others report low contrast, and many mention the photos have a pink hue.

Great little device!
The HP Sprocket Portable 2×3″ Instant Photo Printer in Lilac has proven to be a valuable addition to my tech collection. Despite the initial investment, it’s well worth the price. One thing to note is that the cost of the paper can add up quickly, but considering there’s no need for ink, the overall cost is reasonable.I did encounter some connectivity issues initially, where the printer wouldn’t connect via the app. However, after uninstalling the app, restarting my phone, and starting over, the problem was resolved. Though I admit it was frustrating.Another minor inconvenience is that the printer sometimes overheats and pauses unexpectedly. While this can be a little annoying, it hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me.Additionally, the picture quality is surprisingly decent for a printer that doesn’t use ink. I printed over 100 pictures in one night, and they all turned out great. It’s also worth mentioning that if exposed to cold, the pictures may curl a bit, but this is a common issue with many printed photos.Overall, I love using the HP Sprocket printer regularly, and it has held up well over the three months I’ve had it. It’s a convenient and fun way to print pictures from my iOS and Android devices, and despite a few hiccups, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a portable photo printing solution.

8/10 – Great Little Printer
Pros: portability, ease of use, great value (quality:price)Cons: battery at <50% after printing 7 photos, slight difference in color from screen to print (to be expected in *all* digital print jobs, not just photos), slight striping (see picture)Purchased for recording memories and journaling away from home and to print photos as a school fundraiser. The printer had to pause for a cool down period (~1 minute) after ~5 photos so will still work for the latter purpose as long as I keep it plugged in throughout the fundraiser. While this printer will work for the former purpose (on the go journaling/scrapbooking), I will need to be conservative with printing if I am not near a power source. My guess is you can probably get ~10 photos printed on a full charge. Neither of these issues are deal breakers given the affordability of the printer and paper. There does seem to be occasional striping when printing large swaths of similarly colored areas without much variation/texture (skies and ocean specifically, see photo). Again, not a deal breaker, but should be noted if you plan on printing lots of sunrise/sunset/oceans photos.8/10 would recommend

Great little printer!
I love this little thing! The pictures are decent quality for what it is. Easy to use with the app. It does get hot quickly, I printed 6 pictures in row and had to let it cool down. I do love that it doesn’t require ink!

Cute and cheap memories
Don’t have high expectations of quality prints. This isn’t for that. This is great for quick prints in the field for little reminders of memories. Most of the photos I’ve taken that I’m most proof of ended up sitting in Google photos. With this I’m able to print them and such them anywhere and they remind me of so much happiness. I love this little printer even if the quality is really flat, poor color reproduction, color banding and curling. It does the job of giving me little memories and I love it for that.

Why Did I Not Buy this Sooner?
This performs way better than expected especially for a product under $100. I got this so I could take photos during my trip to Europe, print and stick the photos to a journal and then write about my adventures at night over a glass of wine. I pulled it out as soon as I got it to test its capabilities so I chose photos I had taken on a black background and a white. As you can see it did a phenomenal job. The red on black was perfect. The white back ground came out a tinge blue and the sunflower was a bit dark so I know now with images that are on a white background I will need to do some post editing on my mobile device before printing. I loved this so much I bought one for son and future daughter-in- law to use at their showers, rehearsal dinner and wedding. Take photos of guests, print right away, stick it on page in a guest book, and then have the guests write their thoughts, memories and advice to the bride and groom. All the photos have a sticker back enabling the photos to be attached to anything, This printer is a great asset at any get to-know-you event or small conventions by adding the photo to people’s name tags or a guest books. Have fun with the photos by adding them to snapchat or any photo editing app and then print. LOVE THIS!! Set up with the app was super easy – plug and go. It seems to perform best when plugged in. I have not explored its battery life. I do not know if it has a battery but plugs are pretty accessible these days. Makes great gift for travelers, newlyweds, graduates, and those who love to journal.

Quick & easy set-up, great quality & it’s cute!
Easy set up & use! I love the sticky back photo paper (it comes with 10)! I’m pretty impressed with the quality of the pictures considering the fact that there’s no ink! It’s compact, light, & cute. It prints fairly quickly & you can even customize what color you want the little light. 5/5 stars! Definitely recommend!

i’m so happy i bought this printer !it’s super cute and light so it’s easy to carry around with me anywhere i go.i use it a lot in my journal and scrapbooking: i have noticed the photos sometimes print out with a slight pink hue to them, but honestly i vibe with it.my only problem with it is that the printer paper for the sprocket is slightly expensive, but a 50 pack lasts me for months so it’s not so bad !
