LIVE DATA & REAL-TIME DIAGNOSTICS – Get instant access to OBD2 live data, including RPM, engine temperature, fuel trims, and oxygen sensor readings. The drive cycle readiness feature helps pass smog tests and emissions inspections with ease.
ENGINE CODE READER – This automotive diagnostic tool works with most US, Asian, and European vehicles from 1996 and newer, including Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chevrolet, Nissan, Dodge, and more. Read and erase ABS (coverage may vary) and engine trouble codes with pinpoint accuracy. Please use Innova’s Coverage Checker to verify coverage.
OIL RESET & SMOG CHECK READINESS – The built-in oil light reset feature allows DIYers and mechanics to properly reset maintenance lights after an oil change. Check I/M readiness status to ensure your car is ready for an emissions test.
NO SUBSCRIPTIONS – VERIFIED FIXES WITH FREE APP – Unlike other OBD2 code readers, the INNOVA 5210 provides verified fixes based on real-world repairs from ASE-certified mechanics. Customers say
Customers find the OBD2 scanner works well with older models, is simple to use, and helps with vehicle diagnostics, with one customer reporting it saved over $1500 in repairs. Moreover, the scanner receives positive feedback for its quality and suitability for DIY mechanics. However, code readability and connectivity receive mixed reviews – while some customers can clear codes and connect via Bluetooth, others report issues with ABS codes and Bluetooth connectivity, particularly with Lexus and Toyota vehicles.

Very Easy to Use
I am a long term ‘car guy’, however I grew up with carburetors, points and stuff like that. I own and drive new cars, but don’t mess with them much. Recently my 2013 Mustang lit up the check engine light. Engine ran fine, all the gauges looked good, so I took a chance and drove home. No problem. I did not want to just take the car to a dealer without knowing a bit more. I am familiar with OBD II, but do not have any experience. But it seemed simple. So, I ordered this OBD II scanner, it seemed popular and had great ratings. Received it quickly, read the instructions, which actually were simple. Then I plugged it in and read what it told me. Then I error codes showed a lot of misfires on several cylinders. But, the car ran great. With over 400 hp and 390 lbs-ft torque, I think I would feel misfires. I checked on line for these symptoms and found a factory service bulletin for exactly this problem. A faulty crank position sensor. Took it to the dealer and had the repair done. Even though it was expired, they covered the part under warrantee. This tool really helped, it was very easy to use and provided a lot of information. Paid for itself in one use. I did not use the app, but next time I will.

Good tool to have!
This thing is pretty high tech and probably more than I need but it’ll be nice to have! It does have a ton of features, however be warned that not every feature is compatible with every car. It does connect fast and it reads accurately though. Able to clear some codes and also able to read ABS codes that did not set off the light yet. The app is pretty cool to as it features ideas of what part to fix the code as well as has a cool feature that predicts what repairs you might have to make in the near future. Overall I consider this a good value for the price I paid. 4 out of 5 just because not all features worked on my 2013 Honda but it still did all the basic stuff and then some!

Great Product!
This product works very well. 10 out of 10.Worked immediately out of the box. Never used one before, but only took a few minutes to get used to. Works way better than the FIXD product which was meant to accomplish the same thing just through an app only. This device told me exactly where the problem was for my ABS issue within seconds. My only critique is that every couple diagnostic checks or menu swaps it would ask if I have downloaded the app yet, but it was easy enough to skip. I understand that the app probably has some additional functions that will assist but for some quick testing out of the box that might annoy an average person. All in all, would definitely recommend this product.

Better details than a simple reader with the ability to store vehicles.
Best value for the ODB2 readers. The more expensive ones have a bit more categories but this has so much than the simpler one. Store each vehicle in the reader with details to keep them separate.Easy codes to research so you know what to tell a mechanic or fix it yourself with surety.

Works with CAN/BUS OBD2 systems
Used on a 2008 Hyundai Accent. Pretty much plug and play right out of the box. Read the trouble codes correctly and was able to clear them. Live data stream works well. Reader is easy to use, gives a lot of useful information, I am not a professional mechanic, but I was able to lookup my questions online if I didn’t totally know what readings I was looking at. Well built and appears to be very accurate with its readings. You can also download an app for your phone, has Bluetooth capability to capture info on your phone, I tried it, but I found just using the reader was enough. It also has a customer service number, some of the other brands I have had didn’t have any. All in all a good piece of equipment.

Good value for the money
Works great. Easy to hook up and read. Cord seems plenty long enough. Seems to read codes if you have any fairly quick and good. No manual included so you have to download that online.

My old scanner (from the same company) cost similar money but could access all the systems on the car where this one can only access two, the only major thinga this has going for it is it can be paired to a phone via an app and can do live data.

Will not remove engine light showing on dashboard display even after clearing codes.
