First rate small computer. Handles big jobs.
This computer, with 16GB RAM+512GB M.2 SSD is an outstanding value. It runs Windows 11 Pro, which is pre-installed, perfectly. Responsiveness is what you would expect out of a larger system with higher specs. Websites load almost instantaneously, and most applications such as word processing, Libre Office, and so on work fine.I am using this computer as a Plex Media Server, connected to an external USB hard drive with all my movies and media on it. It works perfectly. I can stream videos at full resolution to my Roku TV, and web browsers on other computers in my house. No glitches, no dropped frames, no problems of any sort.They give you an excellent piece of advice when setting it up. That is to pretend you do not have an internet connection. This will install Windows 11 Pro with a local account, and prevent it from downloading tedious updates during the setup process, which could take hours. Using a local account instead of signing up for a Microsoft account is definitely the way to go.

Great media server
Makes for a great little media server and light-duty couch PC. Packaging is good, with tamper-tape before opening.I was a little concerned getting a PC that only had 0.5 TB of storage, but I figured I would just add an external drive. So I was surprised and delighted to see that it comes with an optional flush-mounted USB-C to SATA attachment that fits a standard 2.5″ laptop hard drive directly underneath the PC. Both the PC and the hard drive extension have mounting holes, and the PC shipped with a matching bracket.Its external power supply is only 30 W, making it pretty low-footprint. If you’re planning on adding an eGPU, it’s going to need its own power. It has four USB-A connections, two HDMI, an RJ45 ethernet port, 3.5mm microphone mini-jack, and a hole for a kensington lock. Both WiFi and Bluetooth are built-in (essential for a media server, IMO) so you can mount it anywhere, plug in the power supply, and connect to your network and wireless input devices. For around $200, this seems like a good value and meets my needs.Oh, and the Win11 installation isn’t loaded with a ton of bloatware, which is greatly appreciated.

Very nice home or small office PC. Fast, reliable, and quiet.
Kamrui is a PC I’ve used now for several months. It’s so good I bought some for family members. It is amazingly quiet, and just works! It is bigger and more powerful than I expected. I had an issue with one of them, and Kamrui replaced the PC quickly and without issue. Their customer service and warranty were excellent. I highly recommend this PC!

Good Thing in Little Package
Had this KAMRUI E1 Mini PC Alder Lake N97 about a month or so and its been a Great Little PC for office apps, online browsing and streaming media.What I like:1. Comes with Windows 11 Home2. No adware to remove, no free trials to remove, no antivirus about to expire, no bloatware, no spyware – just a nice clean desktop3. Very small without the spare drive enclosure attached, only 128mm square by 37mm thick (25mm = 1 inch)4. Copies files from USB port to SDD incredibly fast compared to my other PCs5. Nice Video and Audio via HDMI port – it has 2 of them6. Has Wired and Wireless InternetMore Info and Opinion:No Authentic MS Windows Sticker with the 20-Digit Windows 11 Product Key on this PC. No enclosed paper or email with the 20-Digit Windows 11 Product Key. Only the Windows 11 license is attached to your Microsoft Account during the setup process. Let me elaborate with my experience.It has a sticker over the ethernet port says don’t go online during Windows setup because it will take a long time. I think this is odd. Don’t you want to update???? But I didn’t remove the sticker or plug in the network cable. But you know what? The PC wanted to connect to my WiFi during setup so I let it connect. Sure enough it downloaded a major Windows 11 update to a new edition and told me just go do something else while it installs because this is gonna take a while. Nice, just what the little sticker warned me about. I think it downloaded a whole new copy of Windows 11 from Microsoft. Which leads me to this: If you are connected by cable or wifi you will have to use your Microsoft account during setup because there is no other option. I tried. Maybe if you are not connected you can get a local setup only option to avoid using a MS account. But is that better? I don’t know, but keep this in mind: If you ever have to reinstall Windows 11 on a new SSD from scratch you will want it connected to your MS account now, otherwise you have no product key. Microsoft links the key to your account during setup. Somehow it gets it from the PC automatically. That’s my understanding from MS website.Unlike a lot of major brands like HP, etc. this was a great setup experience. This is not a Windows S version. You only need to update windows to the latest during setup. No adware to remove. No trial software to remove. No updates installing the wrong drivers. Just Windows Defender Antivirus running automatically. My first PC using Windows 11 btw. Its pretty good, so far all my previous apps work.I like the small size of this PC and it’s lighting effect is nice but if you don’t want any light at all you may not like it. The case has a stripe all the way around it that lights blue when its on and turns red when its in sleep mode. The extra drive enclosure lets you add a 2.5 inch SATA HDD or SATA SSD and the enclosure data connection to the PC is via an internal USB plug. I don’t know if that is better than a direct SATA but the USB copy speed on this PC is very fast. With the size and price and speed of USB sticks now, I will probably never use the extra drive bay enclosure.The way the HDMI and USB Ports and Power Button and Power Cord Port are arranged around the case, in my opinion, is not good for mounting on its included Vesa Bracket to the back of a monitor. When mounted, the Power Button would be on the left side. Think about reaching around behind the monitor to the left side to turn your PC on and off. Think about trying to put USB sticks in and out back there. Not very feasible. For that, you would want the power switch on the right or top, the USB ports on the Top and the HDMI and Power ports on the bottom and/or left. To its credit, this PC powers down into sleep mode (red effect lighting) and comes back out even after sitting into the next day so you don’t actually have to ever shut it off I guess.I only used the HDMI for audio to a monitor with built-in speakers and also a TV with speakers. Real good sound volume and streaming works great. No issues streaming with the wireless internet connection for hours at a time.I have not heard a fan in the month or so I’ve had it so I don’t know if it has one. Doesn’t seem to get too hot.I have an older mini PC from this mfr and it has been working good for a few years now so I am thinking this one will also last a few years.I gave 5 stars because its been a pretty nice Windows 11 PC experience so far even though it should have better design of ports and switch for easy access behind the monitor.
