JUST BUY THIS!
This is probably my favorite piece of equipment I’ve purchased for my kitchen. It is MUCH more quiet than I expected, and makes quick work of processing vegies, etc. I love to process vegies into my sauces, so they are smoother and no one suspects the vegies. I also love the large size so that I’m not doing 6 passes like my smaller one that I’ve used for years. LOVE this color too. Thx Kitchen Aid!

The food processor bowl is garbage
The plastic bowl completely broke after just under a year of light use. I may have used it 4-5 times. Very disappointed…KitchenAid is supposed to be a good reliable brand. My previous, old Black and Decker lasted over 20 years. I’m just shocked at how flimsy this was built. I certainly expected more from this brand. I will say the base and motor are solid, but the actual bowl is garbage. And to replace just the bowl…will cost at least $60. Might as well buy a whole new different brand.

Good for occasional lite use
Not really a gourmet chef food processor nor is it sold as one. Replaced a much bigger, heavier duty one they used to make. The plastic container part, lid, interlock, main whopper chopper blade all broke after 20yrs. This one is much wimpyer. I think directions even say not to grate blocks of cheese. It works is about it. It won’t last 20yrs and neither will I.
