This phone is great for the money
I really loved this phone. It looked beautiful and worked really well for the price. I mean I only started to set it up. But then had to return it. Because the phone is not compatible with Mint Mobile. So I was sad I had to return the phone.

Not compatible with Mint Mobile
Phone arrived promptly and worked fine over wifi. The only issue was it said it was compatible with my carrier and when I tried to activate it found out it actually was not compatible with my carrier.

Good for back to school
I bought this phone for my little nephew. He liked it very much. He told me the picture of the quality it’s pretty good and it’s able to run all the apps pretty smoothly. It’s a great gift. Had a very good price.

Issues with Mobile Data
It’s an okay quality phone, but it doesn’t work with certain data. Never says anything about it working in the US, did seem to work with ATNT though, but it’s not worth the risk

Pretty decent as it comes, but not *truly* unlocked
To get this out of the way: if you’re planning on buying this phone to use it as it comes (with the default Android installation, and on your own carrier), it’s pretty great for the price. It’s not the most powerful in the world, but it’s responsive and has all the features I’d want from a modern smartphone. It’s nice and light, a perfect size (about the physical size of a pixel 6 pro, but with a larger bezel), and fast enough for basic tasks like email and browsing the web. The camera is serviceable but nothing to write home about. Notably I can’t seem to find a way to make use of the wide or portrait cameras in the software? Not letting that affect the score because I could be missing something, but the bundled camera app doesn’t seem to have any sort of option to switch to them, nor does it automatically when I zoom in or out. Very odd.My biggest issue is that this phone is marketed as being unlocked, which generally means a) you can use it with any carrier, and b) you can access the bootloader to install custom firmware and operating systems. The former doesn’t seem to pose any issue, but the latter has been a pain to say the least. I don’t believe this phone’s bootloader is unlockable at all, which ends up making it pretty useless as the project phone I got it to be. Which in turn means that I have to use it with the version of android built by KXD and trust that whatever data I store on it is safe with them. And that’s not something I necessarily trust. In this day of personal privacy being a big concern for many, I’d put heavy consideration on that if you’re looking at this phone, and look to something like a used Pixel if you are concerned with privacy and security. But like I said from the start, if you’re just looking for a cheap phone for light usage and aren’t planning on mucking about with custom software, this certainly isn’t a bad choice!
