Great cameras!
I bought these cameras for the front of my house because there has been a lot of cars being broken into. These cameras are great. Very clear pictures and recordings easy to set up and use. I have 4 of the LaView cameras and will buy more as needed. I highly recommend these LaView cameras. Buy them you won’t be disappointed.

Great Product, Ok App, Rough Device Support.
I love these cameras, I have 12 of them around my property. Military vet, and I LOVE my property locked down tight. These cameras have not let me down.I have no issues with the night vision, and it is comparable to others on the market (with more expensive cameras being 5% better with IR, and 130% more expensive). If you need more Infrared coverage, they sell IR spotlights that will fix your problem way cheaper than buying a more expensive camera.The app and settings have their own small issues, but nothing compared to the numerous others I have run through, whose issues were not tolerable. There are not a ton of instructions, but if you do what the app says, and listen for the sound cues, you will be alright.I think the biggest gripe is that if you need customer support for the products you buy, you are more likely to get a credible Vice article than get help from their customer support team. Tried for literally months to get help with their cloud service, and get a couple of simple questions answered. Literally no response 6 months later. My research on their site said they had a separate app for it, but that article is OLD. Their sign up says its directly in the app, but I never saw anything more than what my memory cards were holding, still trying to work that out.Overall, a great buy. The cameras will not disappoint, but their customer service will. These are excellent 2k HD cameras with very clear pictures and color night vision. I have several other LaView cameras so I was able to set them up with the existing app and see all the cameras on my phone. You can also share one or more cameras with others, individually so you can pick and choose which ones to share. It’s like a high end security system without the high end cost!Setup is easy, especially if you already have the LaView app, just add them to your exiting network of cameras. Here’s a surprise bonus — they work with 5g WiFI.There are lots of features — 2 way audio, event recording (or non-stop if you like), built in spotlight, status indicator (which you can turn off), night mode (infrared or color), scheduler, various detection settings, and a built-in micro-SD slot up to 128GB so you don’t have to pay for cloud service. You can easily view real time movement, or review recordings by date and time. All images and videos can be be easily exported or shared. It has basically every kind of setting you could want or need. These have even more features than the older models, of which I have 3 on my network.Even though they’re outdoor cameras, you can use them indoors as well. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with LaView cameras and this set of 4 solid and durable cameras are of the same high quality I’ve come to expect. Combined with my indoor cameras, I now have every inch of my property under surveillance, all viewable on one screen on my iphone or ipad. Simply awesome!

Not Bad for the Budget
It is a nice budget set of outside cameras with clear vision, easy installation, and easy connection. The rolling ball in my model makes it possible to move a little not only up and down, like in a previous model, but also left and right, which is fare enough to get the right angle to set up the camera vision. It takes a while to do the correct settings by playing with different buttons, though to make it easier, go to their website and check there on the functionality questions. The camera is very sensitive, so you have to adjust those functions. The only issue is the short USB cord. You can use the extension cord though, but this requires covering connectors for outside use.

It’s literally pointless security camera only because of the subscriptions it doesn’t tell you about it before buying specifically for the 4g LTE you have to buy permission service to get the 4g 15$ a month plus the storage space you’ll need another 15$ for the bare minimum plus the actual service you have to get through T-mobile or the other cell service companies they accept which comes out to about 20$ definitely disappointed in it

Great cameras with continuous video recording
I got 2 of these cameras to replace another brand which was just driving me crazy with their terrible app that only wanted to sell you an iCloud subscription plan. These cameras however are quite straightforward with giving you the option to save content to the local SD card which works great and no surprises. The app allows you to view multiple cameras on one screen and allows you to add up to 16 total cameras. The picture quality is clear, some improvements could be made with the section for defining the detection zone given that it only lets you choose a rectangular zone – more options here would be nice.The real discerning difference I find fore these devices is the continuous video recording which is fantastic. Once you get an alert you can scroll through the screens to find the actual timestamp of the event and then go directly to the video stream to see all the ‘before & after’ detail. Never miss an event with this sort of system with no monthly fees using local storage and no potential data breaches.Update: 4/3/23: Saw crazy things happening on my camera above the garage last night, apparently a big brown spider was trying to make it’s new home around it!
