    Marvelous game
This is probably going into my top 10 of all time, of course this will hit the same for you if you are a huge yakuza fan and specifically, the dragon of Kojima himself! Both main characters really being this together, I haven’t played a game this much since persona 4 golden in the vita!!

Great game, learned from the first’s faults
This is a really solid game, played over 100 hours, main story is good, variety of characters. Lots of good QOL stuff, less but better side quests, and the enemy variety is great and more punchy than in the first LAD game.

    Cozy RPG
This is my first introduction into the series. I’ve always avoided it in the past as the videos seem silly. I had trouble trying to connect the Yakuza theme to all the trailer videos of silly side games. After seeing five stars after 5 stars, I just had to pull the trigger and bought it on sale.I finally get it now. It is like a cozy RPG. You are not out to save the world from a evil warlord or dragon. You are not under some time crunch of a falling meteor. You are just some chill dude trying to make a living, help some people along the ways, and level up.In terms of those three, I have not gotten far. I’m just on chapter 4 of 14. Money wise, it is trickling in, but it is a bit daunting to have a wallet in the low thousands, and walking into stores with million dollar gear. From what I’ve seen online, the money comes later. On that note, the game mechanics seem very spread out. But with that said, it does not feel frustrating. Fights are fun, and when you start to level up, you can auto-win battles and still get cash and xp. The game gives the option to auto-battle, but it isn’t really necessary. It just does a great job of balancing the challenge so you aren’t bored. In terms of helping people, this does a great job of creating a system where you go around helping friends and randos. Along with that, it creates a great story. Half the stories have a surprising emotional element which should be easy for most to connect to.Leveling up is fairly easy to do. Majority of street fights can be completed with just simple attacks. Skills (magic) can help finish fights sooners, but the MP costs can be expensive ~ 22mp cost with a character that has 54mp ~again, I am still at the start of the game, so maybe it gets better later. I normally save magic for these “King” battles. Basically they are strong foes that will block off a section or treasure chest until you defeat them.Overall, the game is fun to play. I’m not feeling any stress or anxiety trying to prepare for major battles. It really changes the view when you are fighting a crooked cabbie who is trying to steal your wallet versus saving the city from marauding raiders planning to kill all the townsfolk. Side games are a bit goofy, and it reminds me a lot of the whole Sega Genesis games in terms of the bells and whistles and simple gameplay. I love the little pokemon parody games. Just thinking about it, made me realize just how much time I am spending on the playing environment over the main quests. That probably explains why there is only 14 chapters. There is no pressure to complete the main quest. I’m going to have to take a look at buying some of the older games in the series once I complete this. Now that I get it, I am loving this cozy RPG.

    A great JRPG
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth was a great continuation of the first game with Kasuga Ichiban “Yakuza like a dragon” if you liked that one you will definitely like this one, a lot of new characters and mini games in both Japan and Hawaii. As you can expect with any game in the Yakuza series the story is very over the top with plenty of twists and turns and some pretty emotional scenes. The gameplay is almost identical to the previous game with an addition of new job roles your characters can become. Overall it was a very fun RPG that is you do all the side quests and sub stories it will be anywhere from 85-100 hours of very fun gameplay. Definitely recommend it!

Aloha, A Great New RPG Arrives
Solid continuation of Ichiban’s story that now brings in Kiryu on his adventures. This greatly improves upon Like A Dragon’s/Yakuza 7’s gameplay with awesome classes, new mechanics, and more interactive gameplay. Hawaii is a great new locale that breathes fresh new life into the series finally branching out of Japanese based cities. Every new party member introduced are welcome additions and bring a lot of interactions to the table. We also get great new mini-games and side content to spend more time in the game.Unfortunately, with the two stories going on at the same time, it just did not feel as impactful as the last or most previous games in the series. Constantly going back and forth tended to sometimes give me some confusion on what was going on and kind of messed up the pacing.

    A game full of heart
I got this for my husband as a birthday present. He LOVES this franchise. Its a charming game that’s silly but has a ton of heart. I haven’t played it but he has sunk a ton of hours into it. I 100% recommend not only this game but all the games in this series.
