For my casual use this is a great Product
The phone holder itself is very well made of heavy materials and the finish is excellent. It holds my IPhone 11 Pro Max with a thick Defender case with no problems and the clamp locks in place to securely hold the phone. Phone can be rotated vertically or horizontal and locks in that position. The quick connect attachment is super easy to attach and detach and has a locking switch to prevent accidentally separating it.I needed the ability to tilt the holder up and down which the holder In itself will not do but I purchased another Ulanzi product U-100 quick release ball head that makes this phone holder a perfect setup for meOnly downside is the price it is expensive compared to others I looked at but if your like me and you require a quality well built long lasting product the price is reasonable.

Good quality priduct
Works great, but if your phone has a thicker case like my Samsung s24+ with a OtterBox phone case it’s a little tight fit but works good. The only flaw is when you go to flip your phone from horizontal to vertical you might have to reposition your phone, if they made it just fraction taller or gave you some adjustment to raise the the holder then you wouldn’t have to reposition the phone. Holds tight and is easy to adjust once you get it all figured out. Would I buy this model again, yes quality made all aluminum materials.

Well made, works with my tripod and my microphone boom arm
Nicely made, easy to use, good adjustments. Wanted to use it with both my tripod and my microphone boom arm. Works with both but I did need 1/4 to 3/8 adapters to connect it to my boom arm which has 1/4″ hardware.

This is a quality bit of gear. The design is great: I love the way that, once the jaws have closed over the phone, you can lock them in place: it makes it rock solid. I’m amazed that something made of metal and with this level of engineering can be made for this price. My previous holder was a similar looking Manfrotto, but this blows it out of the water. Clever design features like several cold shoe mounts make this very usable too.One note: on Amazon.com.au, this was sold as “PICTRON Metal Phone Tripod Mount…” however both the packaging and device are branded Ulanzi (which is what it should be. Don’t let “Picton” throw you off).Finally, I saw some reviews saying that the device doesn’t hold phones with rounded edges: hogwash – I am using it with an iPhone 11 Pro Max in a clear cover and it is clamped perfectly. in fact, I think Ulanzi are on to the perfect system here: something that both clamps and locks in place.

I use this for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it locks perfectly and rigidly into place (even with a case attached). The milled aluminuim is well produced with no rough edges. There are some threaded holes that you can fit extra stuff like small LED’s or even an external microphone. Due to the qualiity of the product, should last some time.Great purchase.
