I’ve been wanting a drone and decided to start with this fairly inexpensive model. It’s very easy to assemble, and connecting to either a phone or the remote is a straightforward procedure. Even with the rotor arms fully extended, it’s a small unit.Thankfully it comes with 2 batteries, because they last about 10 minutes per charge.Flying the drone is where things get tough. Perhaps because of the light weight, the drone does not hover in place, even when the directions for calibration are followed. Even the smallest gusts of wind cause drastic shifts in position, and the controls are not sensitive enough to gently maneuver.Thankfully the unit seems to be solid enough to endure moderate crashes, which does make this a good beginner option for learning basic drone controls in an open environment.
