    Great little computer
I didn’t expect much but got a real bargain here. All I needed was a small, compact mini computer and I got more power and speed than I expected. I use a detachable keyboard and mouse anyway and a large screen monitor…so this is perfect. BTW, if you want to stream movies, this does it perfectly.

    Good For Light Computing
I’ve had this mini-pc in use for about two weeks now and, so far so good, with some caveats. On power up, the PC needed a software upgrade which took over an hour. I had the PC installed in my living room TV/AV rack using my OLED TV as the main monitor. I initially found it easier to use a wireless keyboard and mouse connected via a USB dongle to input commands. There was a long process of, seemingly unavoidable Microsoft set-up pages (including the requirement to sign up for a Microsoft account) before I could even get to a point where I could pair devices with Bluetooth so, at least for me, a true wireless or wired keyboard and mouse set up seemed essential.Once I’d gotten through that, Windows 11 seemed pretty intuitive. It looked great on my screen, even at 1080p resolution everything was crisp and super clear. My rack has an Ethernet distribution portal so my connection for both Internet and file access is wired and pretty solidly reliable. My use for the PC is mostly nighttime web browsing and document typing/review. I have been running a dedicated Spotify app to play some music and it sounds great through my ATMOS speaker system. The PC does have limitations though. The other night I put on a YouTube video of some jazz guitar and left it to browse some other pages. It worked fine for the first minute but then it started to stutter and eventually seize up. At the same time the PC’s fan started whirring loudly and the onscreen image started to flash and pulsate. I just don’t think the little PC had enough processing power to handle multitasking like that. The PC is upgradable so, if you like the compact form, that’s always an option. The flashing seemed to be some sort of interrupted HDMI handshake issue and I had to wait until the PC’s processor calmed down and then switch my receiver to another HDMI input and then back to PC again before it would stop. For me, I’ll just keep it simple. I already have an upgraded PC in my office for handling more intensive tasks so this mini will be fine for my intended purpose.I have connected a 256gb memory stick for storage and I am also able to access files stored on my network on other devices, so that’s a plus.I wanted to monitor some activity on the computer while watching TV so I hooked up a mini 15.6 OLED to the device’s front-mounted USB-C port (my TV is connected with HDMI via my receiver for signal switching.) The USB-C gave a good signal and enough power to use the monitor in basic, limited brightness mode without a separate power supply. Plugging in a power supply to the monitor gave me access to a full brightness image which matched what I saw on the larger TV. With both the TV and monitor connected it was a relatively easy task to go into the PCs display settings and have the monitors either mirrored (both showing the same image) or extended (different tasks and images on each screen). For me, mirroring will be enough just so I can monitor running tasks while still having the TV on but it’s nice to have that choice. It’s good to have the capability of a fully functioning computer to use as an alternative to my tablet which is just collecting dust now. I don’t think I could get away with this as my main PC without upgrades but it’s fine as a local client. I’m also getting to grips with Windows 11 before I will have to have that on all PCs so this is an inexpensive way through the gate.Recommended for light usage.

What a marvel of technology this Mini PC is.
My dad needed a new PC after his All-In-One computer kept slowing down and stalling. He wanted a desktop computer like what I have, but the $500+ price tag was turning him off until we found this mini pc. At half the price, we got a better pc with more speed, power, and nearly everything he needed for surfing the internet. It has the same computer quality as a big desktop, but in a package roughly 6 inch x 6inch x 4 inch in size. It’s size allows it to be placed virtually anywhere on your desk where it’s within reach. It’s definitely provides more value for the money.

Very Quiet; Not Super Fast; Good Basic PC
One of the first things I noticed when setting up this PC was just how long it took to get finished.I don’t know if that’s because MS has had lots of updates in the last couple mos, or what, but I think this thing had to practically download an entire new Windows Image before starting up… it took almost an hour of download time on a fast fiber connection. When it finished, the system looks nice and functions ok, but it’s definitely not as fast as a couple other mini-PCs I have around the house here. I have another with the same processor as this one that functions at almost twice the speed for file transfers, loads, basic CPU ticks. So they must have cut some corners somewhere on the specs there.Don’t get me wrong: It’s still a dependable PC, and for those who have modest requirements for a fully functional home office or student PC, this should serve fine (as long as said student isn’t into gaming and graphics-intensive applications)Speaking of displays… It says “supports three displays” and although I suppose it technically can, that means one HDMI; one DisplayPort and one via USB-C. Along with the 1-HDMI it does have also in the box an DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter, so technically you could pretty quickly spin up TWO HDMIs if you needed to. But you’re not going to get a third HDMI without a docking adapter or some other adaptation. So, just fair warning there. One other thing I may try with it is to rebuild it a bit as a dual-boot, Windows alongside LInux, and see if I can improve that speed any. If I’m able to speed it up (as I have with other mini PCs) then I’ll return and provide an update.Meanwhile… All in all, this is nice size, fairly well-designed and respectable PC, and for a lot of people, who don’t care about gaming speed or multiple monitors, this will do just fine as your one main PC. One thing very impressive about it is its quiet fan. It’s got a self-monitoring auto-speed adjusting fan that speeds up and slows down, depending on how hot it gets, but it doesn’t run particular hot, so the fan is mostly just whispering so quietly you can hardly hear it unless you’re seeking it out with a mic right up on it!4/5 of perfect, this is!
