This 1080P monitor is amazing for its price! The size really matters *wink*
So, I bought this monitor with Amazon’s 3 months payments method, since I’m low on cash and need to finish my first gaming PC build. For now, I’m using my laptop to test the monitor at 60hz and its colors are just amazing. Changing the mode to sRGB in the settings will make you see the world in a different way, having my laptop (HP 15 ef2127wm) 45%NTSC display next to this monitor, really makes you realize the big difference between the two.Mounting this monitor was really easy, just follow instructions. When bending the monitor backwards to make it straight, don’t use too much force or too little, just consistent force until you see the change in the tilt. The speakers are decently loud for my room, one thing is that whenever I type in the desk, the monitor wiggles quite a bit, I don’t know exactly why, might be my cheap desk that has too much weight on it.The little analog stick for the monitor menu is a bit confusing since you have to think of it in inversed mode, but after you get it, it’s perfectly fine. I haven’t tested the MPRT settings or higher response times yet, as I haven’t built my gaming pc yet, but I will update this review after I do just for reference.I’m loving every second of it, I need a monitor arm next since the monitor is too big for my desk and I don’t have a good viewing distance, it would be perfect if I could adjust it accordingly. The box came all the way to Dominican Republic, and it was in perfect state, everything perfect, no defects, no scratches, everything sealed, you love to see that!*I apologize for the tragic quality pics, I only have a terrible 50mp galaxy a04 camera available >.<, enjoy rengoku and tanjiro regardless 😉

Nice monitor – great for gaming
Easy to set up, GIANT display, high refresh rate. Haven’t had any issues.I got this on discount so I can say it was worth, but I don’t recommend getting it at full price. Also, you can light a room with this if you wanted. Or not. Up to you. Just get used to the controls though, they’re on the back and kinda weird.

Using it as a Kitchen TV
TV’s in a small form factor are getting increasingly harder to find. And when you do find them they are using outdated tech or have lousy picture quality. After returning 2 TV’s and not looking to spend too much I stumbled on this monitor which drew me in because of the thin bezel, slim profile, and white color. It is VESA mountable and has built in speakers, which was another bonus.Because this is a monitor there is no TV tuner or Coax input, just HDMI, Display port, and VGA inputs. Unfortunately I hit my first snag: plugging in my Roku streaming stick put a lot of strain on the cord because of how close the jacks are to the monitors shell. I quickly ordered a short HDMI extension cord and the issue was resolved easily. My first impressions were great. For TV watching the settings are fairly basic. While it defaulted to eco mode (a little dark for my taste) I tweaked the brightness and the whites became bright and colors looked beautiful without any adjustments. Other options available were sharpness and image enhancements, color temperature, and RGB adjustments. Most of the other features are geared more towards gamers and computer users. Some of the fancy features you find on modern TV’s are not going to be here.Even though it’s only 3W speakers, I found the sound very clear and gets pretty loud. In fact in the morning, even the volume on number 1 is a little too loud for me. I do wish there was an EQ in the settings as I’m sure I could make it sound better by adjusting some highs and lows, but there isn’t any.I now ran into my next snag: How to change volume? Like most computer monitors this does not come with a remote. It is however HDMI-CEC capable, so I hoped my Roku would take advantage of that and allow me to control the volume with the Roku remote. Unfortunately, it will only control the power, but not volume. So for now any volume controls will have to be manual on the recessed buttons at the bottom of the monitor. This was a major disappointment as there is no way to mute or quickly raise or lower the volume (0-100). There is a headphone out port which allows me to add a remote capable sound bar to the monitor if I find the manual controls too frustrating. My final gripe is the sticker they apply on the bottom bezel from the factory which advertises its features. It’s foil label that leaves a lot of residue behind when removed. I’m too nervous to apply alcohol to remove the residue for fear of getting it on the screen or damaging the plastic. However I will have to attempt it at some point. For the money the picture quality is fantastic, the view angle is amazing (sides and top/bottom), and the slim form factory works well for my kitchen. Hopefully it lasts 10+ years like the smaller TV it is replacing.2025 UPDATE:Been using this for a year and just noticed a major flaw in my review and had to adjust the rating. This model (MP273) does not have an Audio Out or Headphone Jack like I originally understood when buying it. There is another model that looks similar which does have an audio output, but this model isn’t it. So if you are plugging something HDMI into this monitor note that you are stuck online using the built-in speakers. Unfortunately, they never released any firmware updates to allow you to adjust the volume with a remote control as well (using CEC.)

Couldn’t have a better picture!
Great Picture! I got a display view cable to connect it to the computer. Use the HDMI cable for other inputs. I was surprised at how it does things automatically. There are no buttons on the outside other than a power button. But the picture was just as I like it. No remote control comes with it so if you want that I guess you need to move up a level. It synchronizes with the computer somehow, so it goes to sleep automatically when the computer goes to sleep, standby mode. It’s a keeper. My computer is hooked up to a sound bar for great sound. It’s my bedroom entertainment system.

I’m really happy with this monitor! The image quality is sharp and vibrant, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel super smooth, whether I’m working or gaming. It has all the ports I need and was easy to set up. The slim bezels give it a modern look, and the built-in speakers are a nice bonus. Great value for the price — I’d definitely recommend it!

This review is for MP273AW, 27″, 1920 x 1080, IPS, 100Hz monitor. It is white with a tilting stand and built-in speakers. I have had the monitor for about a week. If any issues crop up I will make an update. So far so good. I got it on a pretty good sale and feel happy with the purchase. The MP273A model appears identical except for being black instead of white.Unlike what some reviews state, it is indeed 100Hz-capable via the HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. I gather the writers did not enable 100Hz output on the PC, or were using the VGA/D-SUB input. The active refresh rate can be confirmed in the MP273AW on-screen menus. Also unlike what some reviews state, the monitor features fully functional built-in stereo speakers, playing all the expected audio via the HDMI, DisplayPort, or audio line-in jack. They’re 3-watt speakers so don’t expect to feel the earth move.As many monitors do, the MP273AW features AMD Freesync support. I could not verify this functionality because I’m using a non-AMD GPU.Thankfully the unit uses an external laptop-style power supply with an ordinary wall plug, not a so-called wall-wart.Image quality: I am no colorimetrist, but the image looks fine to me. I see no stuck pixels. Viewing angles are good as to be expected from an IPS panel. Off-axis viewing is a bit dimmer, but without the colour shift of a TN panel. A 4-ms GTG response time is specified. I would call that adequate for typical office and home applications, but hardcore gamers may prefer to look elsewhere for their fragging needs.
