Reliable, powerful & low profile
It’s good! Tried a smaller, euro-vintage blender that couldn’t keep up so I finally bit the bullet and bought the Oster. It’s not easy to find a glass blender. So I’m really glad I found this one. It’s low profile and doesn’t take up a ton of space. Works very well and is easy to disassemble and clean. Noise level is good unless you crank it to level 3, than it’s loud,

Perfect Replacement
I needed a replacement for the Oster blender I inherited. After 60+ years of perfection the old machine was whining. I researched, and found Oster made a blender that looked similar. (See photo) The new one works like a charm, no learning curve involved. Quieter than the old one, very happy with its performance. Price good, performance excellent, and arrived timely and well-packaged. Old blender on left with white base,new on right chrome. Looking forward to another few decades of use.

I WAS SKEPTICAL
I was skeptical when I first bought this blender. I was worried about it only having three speeds. I am used to a whole bunch of speeds that I don’t use. I have purchased oyster blenders now for the last 20 years. I would love one of those fancy high speed blenders but they’re all made of plastic. Not very many good options for someone who wants glass pitchers. Anyway I was right in the process of making peanut butter when my old blender broke. So when I started using this blender for the very first time it was with the peanut butter. I started having my doubts (although it did blend with some force of me pushing one side of nuts down). I have had no problem whatsoever when I have made my smoothies. I’m not sure what’s going on with other reviewers blenders? that they complained about it. Maybe they’re used to one of these fancy high-speed blenders. Works fine for me and I’m happy with it.

Good blender but not what I consider heavy duty
Not what I would consider heavy duty. We use frozen fruit in our morning smoothies and have had to resort to thawing the fruit prior to throwing it into the blender.

Great product made from glass
This item is glass and allows you to avoid the contamination you get when you use plastic blenders. It is also many times easier to clean than “filmy”. Most of all the price can’t be beat. Great product.

Disappointed After Years of Loyalty: Blender Failed Within Weeks
I rarely leave product reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this one. I’ve been a loyal customer of this brand for years, and this particular blender model had been a favorite in our household. Unfortunately, it didn’t even last a month. After just a few uses, it suddenly stopped working. I also noticed issues like leaking and a noticeably weak motor. Really disappointing, especially given our past positive experiences with the brand. Such a bummer.

SUPERB BLENDER
So glad to find a blender with glass container! Thank You! Even Vitamix does not offer this option. Power very good. Machine has a quality feel and looks good. I bought a second glass container just in case there is ever an accident and there is a chip/crack or it breaks, but doing so was not expensive and worth the security. But I don’t think the potential for that happening is great, and it is well worth it using a natural material.

Workhorse of a Blender
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wow! No wonder this blender is still being made. It is amazing! I had a Kitchen Aid that cost me two and a half times more and this does a better job. I love the three power levels and that is all you need! It’s a workhouse and it is worth every penny. It is funny it is the one I grew up with over 60 years ago! I love that it is a glass blender with a metal blade. The blender jar is a good size, but smaller than my Kitchen Aid. No biggie I can do two batches for extra large recipes, but for the most part capacity is enough for most jobs.

Excelente opción de licuadora. Deja mis smoothies súper cremositos y deshace bastante bien los dátiles, cosa que no pasaba con mi antigua licuadora. Tiene buena potencia y un toque de elegancia a la vista. La compre a un súper precio con descuento. Además, llegó rápido, a los dos días después de haberla pedido. La recomiendo.
