    Works Great!
I experimented with the different blades and pulse actions in order to get use to the cuts & shreds. Cuts onions great, but I will say the first try I ended up with onion mush instead of chopped onions. A little practice is good. I just threw the mushed onions in soup. When shredding a block of cheese I did find some of the cheese to get a little stuck in a crevice, but no big deal. It is very handy when doing large jobs.

    Awesome!
I love this food processor. I’ve made salsa, and shredded cheese and carrots. It’s pretty easy to clean with the exception of the hollow handle that gets bits of food in it from time to time. I like the way that the blades store inside of the canister. I highly recommend.

    Amazing with one flaw
My favorite brand and machine. Easy to use, large caiacity and cut exactly as expected. Ithe last one i had 40 years ago still works. This upgrade was exciting. Except one Flaw. The handle of the bowl is hollow with a small opening on top. No big deal until one of the pieces fell in it and i couldnt get it out.Now must pay close attention when removing the bowl and not allowing the bowl to get too full

    Well build machine
This chopping machine is very well made. I am still practicing how to use it. I used it once for chopping onions, but it chopped it too fine and turned to be watery. Also, this machine needs some efforts for cleaning after usages. But I am still giving it 5-star review because I am happy it is built sturdily.

    A Winner!
Absolutely love this processor! Had a Panasonic one years ago and thought I’d upgrade to a Cuisanart. What a mistake. The Cuisanart was a pain to operate. I decided to try another Panasonic, and what a difference! Sturdy , easy to operate and fast!

    How it works
Quality is good but not enough accessories such as blades.

Not as efficient as I’d hoped.
Works well, but noisy and sadly the bowl cannot be put in dishwasher. Bits and pieces of ground nuts can easily fall into the open part of the handle.

I bought the Panasonic MK-F511 Food Processor with my own money after seeing a good deal, and overall, I think it’s a solid choice for the price. At CAD 110, it’s not trying to compete with heavyweights like Breville or Cuisinart, and it shows in some areas—but it holds its own for essential, occasional use. The black design is sleek and modern, and the suction feet keep it stable during use, which is a nice touch. It’s lightweight, making it easy to move around, but it also gives it a flimsy feel compared to sturdier models. You’ll want to treat this one carefully; it’s not built to take a beating. The processor has five accessories: a main blade, slicing and shredding blades, a julienne blade, and a plastic whipping attachment. The blades are more minor than full-size discs, likely to save costs, and while they do the job, they don’t feel exceptionally durable. I tried shredding carrots for a salad, and while the results were satisfactory, the pieces were uneven, and you can tell it’s not a precision machine. That said, the storage setup for the blades is clever, with everything fitting neatly inside the bowl, which is excellent for saving space. This isn’t the processor for heavy-duty tasks or large families. The motor feels adequate but not particularly robust, so I wouldn’t push it to its limits. I stuck to about 75% of the recommended capacity and had no issues, but I imagine overloading it could strain the motor. The instruction sheet mentions safety features like an auto-shutoff to prevent overheating, which is reassuring, though I’d prefer not to rely on it.What I appreciate most is the value. It’s not perfect, but it’s more than enough for someone like me who only needs a food processor a few times a week. If you’re expecting professional-grade performance, you’ll be disappointed, but it’s a good buy if you’re looking for an affordable, functional machine for basic kitchen tasks. I’d call it a solid four-and-a-half stars, but since we can’t do half stars, I’ll round up to five for the price alone. Just know what you’re getting, and you’ll be happy. An update. Unfortunately I had to return the unit. While I was very impressed with the value, there was some uncertainty about its status as a discontinued product. That would generally be fine, except that no replacement blades were available when I checked on the Panasonic Canada site or the parts vendor I was referred to. As I did not think these included blades would stay sharp, I wanted a backup set, but none are available, as far as I can tell. I probably should deduct a star for that, but I still consider it a good buy for most Light Duty users for the money charged and what it is designed for. A note to Panasonic: If you want to be a serious player in the small appliance arena, you will need much better user-customer support.

  10. BOO REVIEW

I cleared my garden of my basil crop and used this processor to make a giant bunch of pesto in a number of batches.Super well made and very simple to use. No issues with this powerful little unit. Seems to be well thought out and the quality build shows in every part.Packaging is very good and no parts damaged in shipping. I spent a little more for a quality name brand but its very reasonably priced when you see its quality.

Works well. Powerful. Lots of different attachments. Only complaint is the suction cups on the bottom. Sticks to everything which gets annoying. Would be fine if you could switch them out for normal pads if you prefer.

I had to return it because the device intermittently stopped working no matter whether it was loaded or empty running. It’s disappointing.

It would take forever attempts to lock in the jar to be able to turn it on, and after power was on sometimes it would stop because it is not potent enough to work on a carrot for example. Very disappointed, unfortunately.
