Perfect for Professional & Gaming Use – Excellent Value
We recently installed this monitor in a newly renovated private office at our coworking space. We needed a display that fit our budget while delivering reliable performance and vibrant visuals for client productivity—plus enough quality for gaming sessions. The USB-C connectivity was a must-have for us. It creates a clean, cables-free look and works seamlessly with both Mac and Windows laptops that our clients use. No adapters, no docking stations, no fuss.I’m typically not a fan of 1080p displays, so we always opt for 1440p to get that crisp, sharp clarity that makes a real difference for detailed work. This monitor delivers exactly that—text is clear, colors pop, and the overall image quality exceeds expectations for the price point. For anyone outfitting an office or upgrading their workspace, this is an exceptional value. Professional-grade performance without the premium price tag.Highly recommend

    Great Computer
This screen works and preforms just the way it stated. The built in docking station to my thinkpad is a game changer. The speaker and camera are clear. Great buy.

    Great Monitor!
Decided to retire my iMac Pro (2017) Computer which was awesome. I opted for a new Mac-Mini instead of another desktop. The reason being that I work remotely from two locations and I hated hauling the iMac Pro back and forth. The Mac-Mini transports easily and then all I need is a monitor in each location. I also wanted to get rid of a two monitor set-up and the 34″ wide Philips could do the trick.PRO’s- Beautiful Monitor, great picture, also shows movies in wide theater format.- No need for dual monitor set-up, although it took a couple days to get used to one wide screen instead of two separate screens.- Have more room on my desk now, it is definetely a better footprint than the two 27″ monitors.CON’s- The speakers are lame compared to the iMac Pro. For the time being I’m using an Echo-Plus 1PD speaker, which sounds really nice but is a little inconvenient in terms of having to sometimes go into settings and make a bluetooth connection. I might try to improve that but it works well enough where it’s not a priory. Were it not for the speakers, I’d give 5 stars.

    Affordable, easy setup and operation
Good price, good clarity, easy to install. I use this monitor with a Samsung model of the same size and it makes for easy viewing and less eye strain

If you care about what happens when it stops working, don’t buy this product!!!
I seriously doubt this review actually gets posted, but lets see!!! I bought six of these 26 days ago. One of them just stopped working. Description says 4 Year Advanced Replacement. Turns out that this monitor is no longer in production and Amazon is the sole reseller for what’s left. Manufactuer, Philips, says they never made any “Advanced Replacement” claims regarding this product. Especially since there is a finite inventory remaining.Amazon says they can’t send me another one (even though the Amazon website says the have 31+ available) but I can send the bad one back, wait for a refund, order another one, and wait for that to arrive. My question is, how is doing that any different from them sending me a replacement? It’s the most ignorant logic I’ve heard in a while. If I performed my job that way, our accountant would bash me over the head and run me out of the building.I think the goal is for the monitor to “suspiciously” “accidentally” get damaged in the return shipping, which then means I’m just out the cost of a monitor. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a $199 monitor. Pretty much a throw away item. However, I do expect it to last more than 26 days.As for the other five, I love them. Easy on the eyes. Sleek and slim. Had I known they were discontiued, I probably would have bought something else. Somethihng tells me I’m going to end up with a mix of different monitors over the next few years because these won’t be available anymore. Philips makes a great monitor that usually lasts for many many years. The Philips monitors that these replaced were 15 years old. Still working but startng to dim and have dark spots. So if you are ok with the ridiculous replacement process, by all means, this monitor is for you. the price is very good. If you’re on a budget and cant afford to replace it again if it stops working, you probably want to keep looking. As for me, I’m sending all six back for what hopefully becomes a refund.

Big Screen That Shows Everything While on Live Calls!
This Phillips monitor works with MACs without any issues! I was concerned about that but I did some research and found another gal who used it without any issues. So I bit off on the purchase price and I had it sent to my home. OMG. Now that I have a wider screen, I can do so much! I spend time on zoom calls and this screen makes it possible to work while on a live call. I have given speeches with the help of notes opened to the side. You have the ability to route the monitor sound through a speaker box. I found this required, since the sound that came through the monitor was a little weird. When I routed the sound through the speaker box, everything snapped into place and I have been very happy. The downside is, I am facing a window and I no longer get to see outside the window as this screen blocks the view. I also need lighting on my desk since the monitor blocks the light that comes in through the window. It is that big! Regardless of the sound and light blocking, I really love this monitor and wish I would have had it set up during COVID because I spent many hours on calls with my laptop monitor only. Amazon made purchasing this monitor easy for me with a payment plan. It worked out to be about $65 a month. Great investment. I would NEVER go back to working on the laptop screen again!

I bought this for work so I could run 2 laptops side-by-side, using Picture-By-Picture (PBP) and it works decently. One word of warning though, it only has 1x HDMI, 1x USB-C and 1x Display Port, but they don’t all play well together…HDMI and Display Port: YesUSB-C and Display Port: YesHDMI and USB-C: NoI’d originally hoped that I could run HDMI and USB-C together, but this simpy is not the case. It’s easy enough to convert a USB-C with “Display Port over USB” functionality to Display port however, with a simple cable adaptor, so all was not lost for me.Overall though, great monitor. Lots of screen real-estate to multi-task.

I researched widescreen monitors for many hours and I settled on the Philips widescreen because of the price point, and the few reviews I found on it were good. I use this screen for film editing, photoshop, and work flow. The colour range is excellent and I find the 34″ wide screen perfect. This screen is replacing my 38″ widescreen dell, which I found too big. The 34″ is perfect for opening multiple windows and unlike my old 38″ monitor, I don’t have to constantly keep turning my head to see the edges – 34″ is the sweet spot! I also love the rich blacks and the colour is amazing. I am not a gamer so I can’t give this an honest review for gaming, but for work flow I would not look anywhere else. I am using it with my 15″ MacBook Pro and it plugs into the usb-c on my laptop and keeps the battery perfectly charged. I tried the built in speakers and like any built in speakers in a monitor, they lack bass. I use computer speakers with a subwoofer and I would never use built in speakers on any screen so in my opion the speakers should not impact your decision to buy this screen. Thank you Philips for saving me about 800.00 on something equivalent! Amazing screen 10/10.
