Raycon Wireless Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones, with Active Noise Cancelling (Black)

Love my Everyday head set!
I have been using raycon every day earbuds for years now. I have both the first gen and the newer updated version. I always loved headsets for gaming and watching movies because for longer sessions I find them more comfortable Than earbuds. When Raycon came out with theirs I knew I’d have to try them. And they met my expectations. They are so light and comfortable. Syncing to my phone was easy and best part is you can sync to multiple devices. So syncing to my Nintendo switch and phone is so convenient. The sound is great and it has noise cancellation which is perfect for when I commute with them. I’ve been using Raycon earbuds for years now. I have both the original and the newer version. I’ve always been a big fan of headsets for gaming and watching movies because they’re more comfortable for longer sessions than earbuds. When Raycon came out with theirs, I knew I had to try them. And they totally met my expectations. They’re so light and comfortable. Syncing to my phone was a breeze, and the best part is that you can sync to multiple devices. So syncing to my Nintendo Switch and phone is super convenient. The sound is great, and the noise cancellation is perfect for when I’m commuting with them.

Battery Can Last, But Not Much ANC
TL;DR: The Everyday Wireless BT Over Ear Headphones are a solid 4/5 at this price. They could have been a 5/5 if not for the fit and the low ANC. If you want a 5/5 and don’t mind the price difference, the Pros are a big upgrade. Raycon really stands by their products and are determined to ensure you get genuinely good quality headphones.Update (Feb 28, 2024): (4/5 stars) I needed to come back to make this update (a) to tell y’all how great Raycon’s customer service is and (b) address the fact that I was being dramatic. The Everyday Wireless BT Over Ear headphones are mid, but they’re priced mid, and the expectation is that they’ll be mid. The sound quality is good and they’re light weight. The biggest issue for me is still the size – they’re just too big for my head. But, all things considered, the only thing these headphones don’t do great is ANC. They could dim noise, but not really cancel.In comes Raycon’s customer service. I had purchased the Over Ear headphones a couple weeks before the Pros came out. Even though it was past my return window, they let me exchange the normal Everydays for the Pros and there is a world of difference. (There’s also a pretty big price difference, so the Pros really should be that much better.) The Pros fixed 99.9% of my issues with the Over Ears. If you’re not worried about budget, upgrade to the Pros. If you’re looking for good headphones on a budget, the regular Everyday Over Ear Headphones are genuinely a #good pair of headphones. They’re lightweight, cute, the sound quality is good, and they hold a charge for DAYS. I gave 3/5 stars in my original review because I was expecting the Pros from a product that was wasn’t designed or marketed to be the Pros.–Original (Feb 2, 2024): (3/5 stars) This might be specific to head shape, but the comfort and noise cancelling of these headphones just weren’t there for me. They constantly feel a little bit too big and I don’t get a good cover over my ears. The band over the head isn’t adjustable either.The setting with the ANC on and with ANC off sound exactly the same to me. The setting for awareness noise just feels loud. I hear less of what I’m trying to listen to and So Much More of the noise around me. On any of the settings, all sound seems very one-level. Nothing particularly extraordinary. As someone who listens to a lot of ASMR, I want more depth.Battery lasts for a good while before you have to charge, at least.

You Are On Another Planet
Sharp, clear and you know what is playing. Your own personal concert. Charging speed is excellent, and their water proof. Echo and phase away is good. Smart, clean and ready for the urban environment. I ride the train and the bus every day, I don’t have to listen to spasmodic and unpredictable sounds. People come on the subway with their boom boxes blasting and I want to hear their skid row and shanty town tunes. I’m able to read my tablet and listen to my music in tranquility. I appreciate the price too. Fashionable and trendy. I’m a trend setter , kind of first in my midtown neighborhood to wear Nike Calm Mules, so the first to sport these headphones. At my old apartment I did not have to listen to neighbors arguing. All I had to do was enter my community of serenity. The music these headphones provide is generous and fantastic. You’re in the perfect time period and planet when you place these headphones on your headphones on your head. This is a Time Machine away from the sphere of living in an urban environment.

While not the cheapest compared to some of the Chinese brands, I do believe it represents brilliant value. The sound quality is much better than the cheap alternatives I have tried, and I would say to my untrained ears as good as a older pair of premium brand headphones I have had, if not slightly better. Battery life is surprisingly impressive even at full volume. I only charge them every few days even with fairly regular heavy use thoughout the day. Very comfy fit, the noise cancelling is blissful in a busy location. Very easy to use and connect, I had absolutely no issues there. The materials feel of a high quality, I have owned these a little while now and they are as good as when new still. No floppy lose joints etc.I personally would highly recommend these, and will most likely be buying another pair in the not to distant future for my partner.In short, not as cheap as the knock off brands, but with quality I feel is more in line with premium brands at a far, far lower price point.
