Works & feels great!
Fits very comfortable around my ear, chroma rgb app is really easy to use and the mic sounds pretty good for a more cheaper version of the kraken v3. It functions pretty good in all the games I played with not too much bass which other headphones may have. The structure is really good and allows for the lights on the sides of the headphones to show clearly with multiple modes for rgb such as lighting up when there’s audio playing, I’d recommend it for a more cheaper but quality pair of headphones!

Love these headphones!!!
Great headphones, cushion is amazing and mic quality is clear and crisp. These earphones have noise canceling so it’s great for gaming, but will hurt your ears if you wear it for an extended long time (<4-6 hours). Love the lights and its pretty light weight. Packaging is very nice also.

Really nice headset that checks almost all the boxes
I really like this headset. It is comfortable, has good headphone and microphone quality, and fits with the Razer Kitty Ears perfectly. I don’t change the RGB lighting much, but it has many color and setting options if you download the Razer software. My only dislikes about this headset are the cord length and the plug type. The cord is shorter than the previous Razer headset I had, which doesn’t give me much room to move around while wearing them. Also, it is a USB-A type plug. I wish it was an audio jack type plug so it didn’t take up one of the USB-A ports on the front of my PC.Overall, a really nice headset.

I wouldn’t take it before listening.
For some reason I thought that these headphones would be better, alas, it’s all somehow strange, to pay such a sum for such large headphones and not have clear highs, as if they were specially muffled and such strange sensations while listening to music, I used to use Sony earbud headphones, the bass is weighty but also on boost, without boost it also seems like there is not enough power, I’ll try to tinker with the equalizer but I was hoping for more, in games the Haptic technology works interestingly but I took these headphones as something between the game and music I give them a four although with these equalizers and with such sound settings it’s a solid three.

Good Headphones
My boyfriend LOVES these. He uses them daily and they’ve held up well! The cord length is perfect and gives him lots of room to move around with. Plus, he can never hear me with them on, so they’re good at sound cancelling, lol! They look great!

Feels like a downgrade from V2 in comfort and convenience
I got this upgrade since my V2’s cable mostly died after a few years. This model for some reason has earcups nearly HALF the size of the V2s. Check out the comparison photo. I’m a petite woman and they’re just too small even for me, I have no idea who they would fit comfortably. The V2 ear cups encompassed the whole ear without any pressure points, but these tiny ear cups are very uncomfortable even if you rotate them to an angle that matches your ear shape. I had a headache come on about 5 minutes into wearing them. I’ve never had to try to painfully “break in” a $120 headset before. And if you think you can swap out the earcups with the bigger V2 ones – think again. They completely redesigned the earcup attachment mechanism to somehow be worse, so they’re incompatible and there are no other V3 ear cup sizes on the market as of writing this review. So good luck if you have big ears which I supposedly have because somehow all these 5 stars reviews say these things are comfortable. From my tests of the audio, the sound is great to me. I like that the boom mic cushion is removable. I miss the retractable mic of the V2 though. And I miss the mute button being on the mic with a red light indicator when muted. The volume scroll wheel on the headset is sort of annoying since it’s easy to accidentally nudge it removing and putting them on and then have to readjust the volume back to where it was every time.I’m going to keep these for now though, and if they don’t “break in” soon I will consider returning them. I’m disappointed.EDIT: After directly comparing the audio to the 7.1 Kraken V2s, the sound quality on these is a lot worse actually. The haptic feedback is nice when playing music with heavy bass, but I had to do a lot of manual editing of the EQ levels in the Synapse software to get more “punch” out of the audio in the mid-high ranges listening to music, and put the headphones in Stereo instead of the THX mode which just sounds muddy. The default mic quality was trash to I had to disable all of the “mic enhancements” in Synapse as well to get it sounding good, but the mic quality is noticeably worse than the V2s. The V2s had such amazing sound quality I absolutely loved them for music, but these do not compare. I’m just overall pretty disappointed with these. I may just keep them for the LED coolness factor but I’m on the fence about returning them as they’re worse in almost every way.EDIT 2: I returned them and knocked the rating down to 1 star. I spent a long time trying to troubleshoot the audio. When I looked the issue up online I discovered 3 months ago since writing this review, Razer released a Synapse update that worsened the sound quality across their whole headset line for tons of customers and then doubled down on the update so there’s no hope of improving the inferior sound quality of this headset now. Plus I started noticing cable nose and crackling/popping in the left ear which was the last straw. Avoid at all costs.

Great headset at a great price
Very comfortable over the ear headset with easy to reach controls on the left earpiece

durable budget gaming headphones
Say all you want about these headphones, but they work. They’re probably not the best gaming headphones in the world, but they’re pretty durable. I’ve been using these for 2 years now and there’s absolutely no problems with it. I’m not a big sound guy, but the sound on them seems fine. The one thing it could work on is the mic, but why would you buy a 50$ ish gaming headset for a good mic.

This headset, the Razer Kraken V3, has got to be the worst I have ever used. It has constant clicks, bad audio quality (especially in music and voice), and a bad experience! The only thing this headset has going for is its good materials, but that doesn’t excuse it.
