I’ve had one rattling around in my pocket for months now. The decorative finish is wearing off after being rubbed against a flashlight, keys, and other objects in my pocket, but the lighter itself is just fine. Battery life is short, it only lasts a few uses, but being rechargeable means I can keep using it again and again, it won’t evaporate lighter fluid like a Zippo or leak. Being a plasma lighter, you have to basically touch it to whatever you want to ignite (cigar, kindling, etc) while a butane or lighter fluid lighter produces a large flame that makes it easy to set things on fire. It makes a great backup to my primary lighter, which uses butane, and being rechargeable means I can recharge it at home, in the car, or from a power bank while camping.
